18.01.2022 I’ve been busy whilst we weren’t working everyday and I can’t wait for you to see .. We have a new look and feel with the shop but I have to give a shout out to the ones that helped me the most in achieving my vision. Firstly to Don for the painting and putting up with my instruction on the rust effect wall AMR for the great service I got and the quick delivery of my chairs To Miki and Nathan for helping me put said chairs together and Miki for helping sort the staff room ou...t . Mitch Perry from MJP blinds for the quality blinds and how quick you got them up and also going the extra mile and putting the shelving up for me . Robbie from unique signage and being spot on with my vision for that wall Steve from Harvey Norman flooring for doing an amazing job on putting my flooring down. Rob from small stuff electrical for putting my new lights up. To my amazing staff , Nathan, Sarah and Miki And to you guys that have stuck with us through all this chaos.. Saturday from 7am to 12pm Unfortunately it is still via appointment, we know this is an inconvenience but until the government lift restrictions it’s it the only way we can do things . 07.01.2022 WE ARE BACK All our barbers are back and we are now back to trading Tuesday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm Saturday 7am to 12pm... And back to walk ins . No appointment needed We still have some restrictions No more than 10 clients in the shop Social distancing needs to be observed at all times Sanitiser to be used on entering And please if you are feeling unwell, stay home . 05.01.2022 Please help find Emily. She is still missing from Jones Avenue Warners Bay, since Sunday 24 May 2020 at approx. 4.50pm. Emily is a Maltese x shitzu. Emily h...as a little hop when she walks and runs (back right leg). Her photo shows her as whiter than she is. Her hair has caramel tips and she is off white in colour (dirty white). 02.01.2022 The Original Let me tell you a story. Back in 1961 a young man by the name of Denis Noble started the good old barber shop in Warners Bay.... Over the years the business had a few names but the one thats remembered most is Den’s Den. Good old Den has had a few apprentices over the years but the one that gave him the most headaches was me . ( The fact that I’m his daughter is irrelevant in this story) I started my apprenticeship in 1980 with Dad and I’d have to say I was the lucky one . Today the business is known as Menz Hair Co But we still retain the old fashion values, service and traditions that Den started and a few of my own. I was proud as punch to do this for my dad .That when My dad visits me, he has his own Den’s Den at my house , where he can sit in one of his old chairs , have a beer , reminisce and tell me stories of the old days . Love this man beyond words as he’s taught me so much. Not just my trade but about life . So here’s to you Den See more
