25.01.2022 Hello my beautiful clients!! I am excited to have you back with me in the salon! It has been a challenging time for us all, and I am excited to re-open at a safe & limited capacity!!... Despite the easing of some restrictions, COVID-19 still poses a risk to our health. As a result it is a condition of entry into our salon that you please use the hand sanitizer provided before entering. We are unable to provide magazines, so please bring your own reading material or device, and a water bottle with you. To help us manage social distancing requirements we ask that you do not bring any guests with you to your appointments. This includes children (with the exception of babies in prams). Our waiting chairs have also been removed from the salon to adhere to the 4m2 rule. And obviously if you are un-well or have been in contact with someone who is- PLEASE reschedule your appointment. At MERAKI HAIR the health of our clients, staff & our families is our priority during these uncertain times. I have re activated the online booking button for now to see how we go but I also ask that this is for EXISTING CLIENTS ONLY please!! I am no longer taking new clients. I have had to reduce my hours as well, I understand this is going to mean it will be difficult to get everyone in so I absolutely appreciate your understanding and co-operation xxxxxx If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me. 15.01.2022 Omg. The stuff I’m seeing re hairdressers returning to work is insane. I’ve almost seen it all. Screens up between every chair. Full masks/shields that make us look look like welders. Even little masks that you can put makeup on ... Some of it is impressive, some ridiculous, and some are there just for a laugh; not much of it is practical though. It’s a crazy time. I’ve definitely never seen our industry like this in the 20+yrs I’ve been hairdressing. Anyway hopefully this weekend we will move the benches and mirrors in the salon to adapt to new rules and we will be one step closer to opening those doors XX I’ll keep updating here for progress and when we can start taking bookings ** edit- no I’m not making one of these things lol

14.01.2022 Hello my gorgeous Meraki hair tribe. How are you all. I thought it was time I get on and give you a bit of an update on the direction we are heading. At this stage I am working on re-opening when the kids are back to school- things won’t go back to normal just yet, but we will adjust to what our new normal is for the time being. I will update on this page once I know specifics as that gets closer, and the computer system will also send out a text to you to notify you of ou...r re-open. I hope you are all well!! 12.01.2022 Fun fact for this fabulous Friday... Bobby pins are far more useful than you give them credit for!! You can tell I’m a hairdresser because you’ll find them EVERYWHERE in my house. They regularly appear in my pantry (like this). And I have even been known to send paperwork bobby pinned together to my accountant ... It works! Trust me lol x Have a beautiful weekend

04.01.2022 I know the only thing your waiting for is an announcement that says you can make an appointment (I promise that will come later this week) but in the meantime I’m making sure the salon is ready for you. This means the purchase of extra equipment to ensure single use per client. ANDDDDD pretty art work like this... if we have to remove the waiting chairs we can’t have a boring space in the corner ...
