23.01.2022 Good luck is something to be wished upon others, but it doesn't replace dedication and hard work. Yesterday was a testimonial to hard work and dedication by all that attended the Coast to Coal QH Assoc 'Twilight Show'. A huge shoutout to those parents and family that supported the riders. Without your support and encouragement these competitors would not be as great as they are. Great sportsmanship is a sign of respect for each other, or even in our minds, or by results, so...metimes there is disappointment (each of us have experienced this emotion- you are not alone) but just remember, THAT was your best ride every time you walked into the arena, and I know I am not alone when I say, I am proud that everyone respected their fellow competitor, no matter how the line up was made. This is were great learning evolves and starts, it is also from where great steps can be taken, it's a choice. Recognition, respect, sportsmanship and a common goal to be the best you can personally is admirable. I saw this time and time again. Parents and supporters be proud of what you have instilled in your competitors. They are great... actually 'you are awesome' (Kate Elliott ) A special thanks to our amazing Judge Leanne Bartlet. It was wonderful having you here. The consummate professional. Also to the wonderful volunteers, Linda, Chick, Tanya and Tony Muscat, Melissa Longhurst, Vicky and Jason Hughes, Shane Bennett, Suze, all of you are simply amazing and your sense of community is to be highly commended and thankful for. To our partners and family members (long suffering from our addiction to horses) I'm sure I speak for us all at Coast to Coal QH, we thank you dearly for your patience and endurance. A very special thank you to a very special young lady, you did it Krystee. You are amazing. Beyond awesome. Your work ethic is highly commendable, your knowledge is immense, your decorum is to be applauded. And an absolute pleasure to work with. Beyond all the above, highly professional. All your mentors, inclusive of your incredibly supportive family, throughout the years should take pleasure, in this wonderful young lady that has evolved. Another person that deserves special mention and great thanks is Doc, without him, this did not happen, it would never have happened. On behalf of Doc and I, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has supported our wonderful facility over the years and embraced the learning that we have endeavoured to bring to Mackay, by way of clinics and clinicians. It has been one hell of a journey and one that, even when you have the odd day that doesn’t go to plan, we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Life changes and doors close and open. This door, whilst we close it gently today... and go our own ways, another has opened for us as individuals. For which we are grateful. Congratulations Rebecca Sullivan on your purchase of this beautiful property. We wish you all the best for the future and your plans. May it be the best decision you have ever made. An important thank you to my family, in particular my children that have supported us in all that we have achieved, the help and tolerance you have given over the years is a testament to your wonderful character. Very proud of you all. To my friends and like minded horse people I personally thankyou from the bottom to the top of my heart for your support and friendship.
