30.01.2022 Welcome back to what will be a shot gun start to the 2022 Representative Sporting Year. With the delayed start to school, MDSS has had to reschedule trials to m...eet deadlines for students to attend Capricornia and State sporting trials. In order to fulfill this we have had to offer some sports (who have historically had limited nominations) to a Paper Trial and other sports - a Twilight offering which will run after school 4.00pm to 6.00pm/7.00pm. Some trials will still run during school hours. As you can imagine the rescheduling of these trials has not been an easy task and we thank our officials, staff, school admin teams and our community partners for their flexibility and understanding with change to cater for our very quick start up. For each sport that will trial in the first 2 weeks of school recommencing, MDSS will post details of each trial to this page. If your child is interested in trialing, they will need to contact their Schools Sports Co to receive the relevant paperwork digitally. I would encourage you to return all paperwork back to them asap for consent to ensure they can trial. Your Sports Co will forward onto the relevant Convenors. I would ask for your understanding during this very quick start up. Keep in mind that through your schools and this site is the best way we can get information out to our students, families and community. Please keep referring back to this page frequently, remembering to scroll down to find information pertaining to your relevant sport. Kind Regards, MDSS Team
