22.01.2022 The whole crew loves the HVAC Refrigeration Engineer for keeping the air conditioning running on board each Mercy Ship. But that's not all they do! They maintain the refrigeration system for all the food and beverages, too. Mercy Ships could not function without this role and there is a critical need right now for someone to fill it. Sound like the right fit for you? Learn more today at https://bit.ly/msauHVAC #Volunteer #MakeYourMark #MercyShips

21.01.2022 It’s Africa Day! For more than 30 years, Mercy Ships has been invited to multiple countries on the continent and worked side by side with many different African people. On Africa Day, we want to thank these nations and people for their hospitality, partnership, and friendship. We also want to take the opportunity to share what Africa Day is really about. Mercy Ships Africa Bureau Director Dr. Pierre M’Pelé, originally from the Congo, brings a unique perspective to the table. ... Hear what Africa Day means to him and why we should celebrate in our Q&A: https://mercyships.org.au/celebrating-africa-day-with-dr-p/ #AfricaDay #HopeAndHealing #MercyShips

The road to get there wasn't easy, but Diama's resilience never faltered. She put in the hard work and is now reaping the benefits! We are so happy to see her healed and proud that she accomplished her goal.

06.01.2022 Dr. Rokhaya Thiam recently established Senegal’s first non-profit palliative care association that delivers direct patient care. Dr. Thiam was one of thirty-two local health care professionals who participated in our Palliative Care Course, which was offered for the first time during the Africa Mercy’s field service in Senegal.
