17.01.2022 From the Government Gazette 12th August1861. Town Common for Meredith. ... County of Grant- Extent about 380 acres. Commencing at the north east angle of allotment 69 parish of Coolebarghurk bounded on the east by the Coolebarghurk Creek bearing northerly about one mile and three-quarters to the south boundary of the township of Meredith, on the north by the south boundary aforesaid bearing west about one mile and a quarter to the Geelong and Ballarat railway, on the west by this railway bearing southerly about one mile and three -quarters and on the south by a line and north boundary of allotment 69 aforesaid, bearing east about one mile thirty chains to commencing point and Coolebarghurk Creek. Can any one pinpoint the location?
