14.01.2022 Please enjoy our assembly item this week, as prepared by the school choir group and Mrs Lewis. Due to ongoing restrictions, the choir were not able to collectively perform as an ensemble. However, Mrs Lewis figured out a safe and alternative way to showcase the fabulous talent from the choir. Afterall, as the saying goes, the show must go on! ... Well done everyone and a big thank you to 345P for performing the wonderful backing percussion. Enjoy!

We have repurposed our old school hall and installed a students' kitchen, which also serves as a learning hub and home for our many digital devices. STEAM happens here everyday from Kinder through to Year 6. A unique and much loved addition to Merewether Public School.

11.01.2022 ...And the Gold Medal goes to.....MPS Aerobics Team! The MPS Aerobics Team, made up of Jessie T (Year 6), Jessica W (Year 6) & Amber M (Year 5), placed 1ST in their division with enough points to take them to Nationals had it been going ahead. They have trained so hard all year and are very deserving of taking out the top spot in the competition. Well done!!... A huge thank you to Aerobics Coach, and former National Champion and MPS student, Paige Kirby who has done an amazing job to guide and mentor the team, leading them to a much deserved victory. Fly High MPS!!
