14.01.2022 The NCC Sports Plan has come out for comment, and the only comment about Myamblah Oval is: , (, , ) The club has developed an initial concept plan for the future of Myamblah which seeks to address the following issues:... Parking Providing multiple entry points to the park (specifically Scenic Drive, Yule Road and Merewether Heights Primary school) Female friendly facilities, referee change room, larger canteen Moving the concrete cricket pitch out of the center of the soccer field (see next point) Optimizing the field layout to provide two soccer fields side by side with cricket pitch in between the fields - slight increase in total field area. Disabled access with a suitable viewing platform. We need your help in providing feedback to NCC, so that we can push the case for improvements to Myamblah. Click on the Sports Plan link below to fill out a feedback form (by the 7th!!) If you do provide feedback to council, can you please post that you did (comment below) so that we can get an idea of how many people have responded. Thanks! We would also like your feedback on our concept plan (good and bad), which was done as a tool to gather ideas that can be built into future versions of the plan. https://www.newcastle.nsw.gov.au/sports-facilities-plan Concept Plan Link https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=3629454900422688&id=212823808752498

07.01.2022 Women's Premier League Celebration Day (old girls day) This Sunday 27th we have our last home game of the season at Arthur Edden Oval. We would like to invite all past players/coaches/managers/helpers along to celebrate with us the progress we have made in the last 11 years. WPL started in 2009 and we are one of only 2 remaining founding clubs that have played every season. We are also the most successful club in the history of the competition!... We would like you to attend from 2pm on, with the idea of getting a photograph of all the previous and current players/coaches/managers/helpers out of the field (suitably distanced) at 2:30pm pretty much as the reserve grade game finishes. Come and share your memories and cheer our 1st grade team on from 3pm.
