06.01.2022 While we are sad to lose the WPL from Merewether United Football Club, this is a great opportunity. The Club wants the WPL teams to continue to succeed in the competition and Charlestown are better placed right now to allow them to do this. It will also give the club time to focus on grassroots and nurture our young local talent. We have a lot of support from our community and our sponsors are right behind our teams, from U6 to over 35s. It’s a great time to play football! We wish our WPL teams and coaches all the best.
