24.01.2022 Where do I begin with yesterday? Honestly, I felt so welcomed and appreciated & to be able to document this part of Laura & Lee's "plenty of fish" story was such an honour. Being with this intimate group of 30 or so people I felt like I was amongst friends, everyone was just so lovely. Laura's mum especially touched me, she reminded me so much of my own mum with her gentle and loving nature. They both blew me away with their personal vows to each other, their smiles & honestly and as I said yesterday, Laura, the love you have for Lee shows in your eyes. I knew we were going to have the best day together, so thank you! Jx

23.01.2022 Some of the last weddings I got to shoot prior to lockdown are some of my favs from last season. Maybe it's because you can appreciate things more from this side.... or maybe it's because they were just such amazing people! 10.01.2022 Happy new year everybody!!! A big thank you to all of my phenomenal couples who have made 2019 the best year yet. You all make it possible for me to continue to do what I love and I have no words to tell you how grateful I am. Ive honestly had the most wonderful year meeting the best people and feeling more connected with my work.... My heart has filled with the love all of your families share and sadness for those weve lost too soon. Ive had to hold back tears so many times this last year Ive lost count. Anyway, In the time honoured tradition of over sharing Ive put together a little end of year slideshow & Id love you all to take a peek. 08.01.2022 I never tire of looking back thru my past seasons work. The amazing couples, the gorgeous gowns, the floral masterpieces. Each season inspires me for the next, each couple reminds me why I love photographing love. I often beat myself up because I dont shoot enough other content. But if my heart and soul are full and I get so much joy and satisfaction from my wedding work do I need to?

07.01.2022 There are so many beautiful shots I could have shared from Katie & Sebastian's day. But if I'm honest, these shots, the ones where I got to quietly sneak them away from everyone else at the reception just the 3 of us, these are my favs. Maybe it's because of the beautiful light, or maybe it was because it was just Katie, Sebastian and myself. ... Either way, It felt like a quiet moment in a whirlwind day, a moment where I got to really see the love and admiration between these two, and it was perfect. It's another beautiful example as to why taking a moment at dusk, not only for a photo but for yourselves, can be an amazing thing to do. Congratulations K&S. Jx #katierollsthedyce

05.01.2022 Happy New Year!! Megan & Kallan rounded out my 2020 perfectly yesterday. The coffee Martini's flowed, the sun was shining and live streaming even made it possible for Megan's family to join us from the Eastern States. Such an awesome bunch of people.... I'm sending so much love to ALL of my couples from 2020, it was a roller-coaster of a year but you did it! Through all the crazy, stressful pandemic bullshit YOU DID IT! And I was so happy to be a part of each and every day. Love to you all. Jodie x

02.01.2022 No matter what, these two were getting married in 2020. Let's face it, the pandemic was a roller-coaster of emotion that changed the course of their wedding plans, continuing into yesterday, where I think most of us were filled with both overwhelming joy and sadness at the same time. Joy because Katie & Chris's day was FINALLY here and sadness because Katie's family and friends from the US (and the rest of the world) couldn't be there to celebrate with them. Rescheduling & co...ordinating everything for yesterday was a huge challenge for these guys (well, mostly Katie... but Chris did organize the Bus!) and I couldn't be happier for them that it all came together. Katie & Chris, you are both so wonderful & your day was simply glorious! Congratulations!
