25.01.2022 Cute little elf ear girl from Wilhelmina Pickles. This little girl will be heading down south when shes ready.

23.01.2022 Quick video of the newest twins! I love them so much :)

23.01.2022 We all love it when it rains but I think Miss Lavender had too much fun in the rain and came down with pneumonia. So off to the vet we went, she had a temp of 41 which is high for a goat and her gut sounds where reduced and she was dehydrated. So the plan was antibiotics, pain relief, meds to bring her temp down and supportive fluid care. After 24 hrs she was showing signs of improvement and was starting to be interested in a bit of prime Lucerne. But when I visited her tonight and took her favourite hay in she couldn’t resist fingers crossed she can come home tomorrow

20.01.2022 Gotta love it when your buck throws a tantrum! Thankfully Kenny isnt aggressive and just carries on like this instead. I didnt get it on video but shortly after this he threw himself on the ground having a tantrum cause I wouldnt let him get to the girls on the other pen. The joys of owning a buck!

13.01.2022 Meet the new kids on the block. 43.75% Pygmy twins! A girl and a boy from lavender and Kenny. Arent they the cutest!

12.01.2022 Hay feeders complete!!! Even the alpacas approve! And today I realised it would of been the first time little Chewy would of been able to eat fresh lush grass! He was born in February but we have been so dry we haven’t had any grass grow.

12.01.2022 Hi everyone I’m just double checking that everyone that should of received paperwork for babies brought form me as received them. I’ve had a few that have gotten missing along the way with the internet submissions so if you can flick me a message I’ll sort it out ASAP for you. Thanks

11.01.2022 Sometimes you just gotta be a bit creative and have some screws and a drill handy. I went to pick up hay and came back with a wooden crate and some off cuts. Goats will love it :)

10.01.2022 The joys of owning a buck! Its 6pm, dark, cold, and your buck wants to get to the girls and breaks the tension wire on his paddock, then pushes his way under the wire into the girls pen and thinks hes done nothing wrong! So after trying to fix the tensioner in the dark and having no luck and accepting that Kenny will keep on breaking through, I improvised and put an old t-shirt on him to stop him making contact with the girls. We call it the Shirt Of Shame! Yes hes going to pee on it but if it stops him from doing the deed then Im happy! Looks like Im doing fencing tomorrow morning!

10.01.2022 37.5% pygmy triplets! and they are all different from each other. 2 girls on the left and the little boy on the right.

10.01.2022 Is anyone after an entire male alpaca? Posting for a friend who is selling their breeding male due to downsizing. He will come and eat from your hand but will keep his distance still. Great around goats and will alert you when there is danger around. Located Regency Downs in the Lockyer valley. Can help with delivery if local-ish aswell. Please pm and Ill pass on their details.

09.01.2022 Congratulations to Sharon and het family, they will be adopting little Leo and Magoo. I know these 2 little guys will be very much loved and will be just down the road so I can go and have visits

08.01.2022 The joys of having triplets! I decided to take the little girl off mum as she was the smallest and weakest and her 2 brothers had worked out how to feed and were literally sucking mum dry! Mums milk hasnt fully come down yet and the little girl, which Ive named Opal, was missing out. Plus mum stood on her today too. So off to Wilhelmina Pickles she goes to be bottle fed. She has had a good drink of mum first up so has had some colostrum so she should be fine. Fingers crossed.

08.01.2022 If anyone is after a bottle fed kid, Coulson park minis have a cute boy available

08.01.2022 Never a dull moment at my place! One of my 50% pymgy does started to go into labour this afternoon and she delivered a healthy little 50% doe kid that looks just like Kenny! But then the dramas began! She was trying to get the twin out and all there was was a leg sticking out. So we tried to rotate bub but to no luck. So off we went to the emergency vet at UQ Gatton uni. Thankfully they managed to rotate him and deliver him safely. So a healthy little boy and girl for mummy Eclipse. Photos tomorrow but now, its drink time!

07.01.2022 Wow! What a surprise! Twins born to Miss Roo. Roo had been naughty and broke through the fence to go visit Kenny one day, she had just kidded not long before and was having her 3 month time out until she got to have another rendezvous with Kenny. I didnt even see Kenny interested in her. I didnt even see Roo in season. But the heart wants what the heart wants! I had no idea she was even pregnant cause she loves her food and will eat all day and I just thought it was her storing her winter fat but alas no, healthy little 25% Pygmy boy and girl born. The girl is the little spotty one and a little stunner and Roo still looks as fat as she did before!

05.01.2022 The newest member to the Meri grove farm- 6 month old alpaca named Chew-paca, chewy for short he has grown up around goats and he is settling in really well so far.

04.01.2022 Twin girls! Congratulations to Kuro! No issues with the birthing and thanks Wilhelmina Pickles for being the midwife at 3am to make sure she didnt have any issues

04.01.2022 I love how baby goats make everyone happy. This is Jax having cuddles with one of the triplets.

04.01.2022 The cubby house got a revamp and the goats can now enjoy their new swing. Spoilt goats!

04.01.2022 Family picture I dont have the heart to tell Jiggy the alpaca that they arent his but he is being an awesome father to them. 2 boys and a girl!

03.01.2022 Emergency vet trip at 1.30am with mumma goat in labour and kid stuck. Thankfully the vet managed to turn bub out and delivered him without any further complications. Home at 4am. Gotta love the farm life! I think I shall call the new little dude Beni after the vet who delivered him. welcome to the world Beni.
