They were also awarded the Champion Pen of Three and Champion Beast on the Hoof, as well as the Highest Dressing Percentage and Highest Profitability. The winning pen were Limousin/Shorthorn cross.

03.01.2022 Meriden Limousin were thrilled to achieve the clearance of 23 of 23 lots offered at our first Bull Sale at Merriwa Showground on Thursday 10th August 2017. A healthy average of $5,700 underpinned the 100% clearance, providing great value to an even mix new and repeat clients from as far north as Marybourough, Qld, to Canowindra in the south and Baradine in the west of NSW. The sale topped at $9,000 for Lot 11, Meriden Poll Limitless, to Waugoola Pastoral Company who were als...o the volume buyers taking home 6 bulls. Lot 26, Meriden Poll Larceny was purchased by another repeat client Owen Wallace, Sandy Hollow, for $8,000. Both are sons of homebred sire Meriden Poll Heavyduty. A big thankyou to all buyers, underbidders and agents that provided such strong support for our first sale.
