17.01.2022 So the scaffolding was removed to day and now we can admire our handy work. This is the house at Kilcoy for Amelia Galagher and Jonathan Galagher that I am buil...ding at the moment. And yes getting Tradies at the moment is a pain in the back side. So not only did we do the frame and cladding as usual, I have also installed the Fascia, guttering, roof battens, roof, NRG board for the renderer, and painted the whole of the outside. 14.01.2022 Do you have rotting timber post under the house? Wondering what to do about it, don't be 'Stumped' ring Merkara Homes as this home owner did. New solid Iron bark stump & Ant cap installed.

14.01.2022 So over the past 2 weeks we have been spending time making a start on the New home and 2nd dwelling. We have had good weather and the concrete slabs are complete.

10.01.2022 Last Friday we finish the roof trusses and strapped them all down. Not bad considering there were 5 bear floors at the start of the week.

10.01.2022 50 cubic meters of 32 Mpa concrete later and with the help of the guys from Andocrete Concretors the house slab has come up spot on.

07.01.2022 Renovation to Queenslander stairs at Neurum Creek Bush Retreat. Love this sort of work, Real Carpentry skills required for a project like this and real timber, hardwood. None of that treated pine rubbish used in the Stairs or handrails.

03.01.2022 Using render NRG Board on this home at Chinchilla, it give an R rating of R3.47, a bit better than wall batts rating of R1.5. This will help keep this home cool in the hot summers out here and warmer in the cold winters. Roof is now on and soffits installed, and house locked up.

15.12.2021 Started a new home at Kilcoy little over two weeks ago and it is coming along well. This house is not going anywhere as it is built on shale (rock).
