11.01.2022 Unfortunately we have to cancel the Mernda Chess Club until further notice - City of Whittlesea facilities are now closed to non-essential events and activities, to minimize the spread of COVID-19. They have requested that community groups do not run events until further notice. Please stay tuned, we will be running again as soon as it is safe to do so.
06.01.2022 The Mernda Chess Club urgently needs volunteers! No chess knowledge is required. We need people to set up the club on Thursdays from 6pm to 6.30pm, to supervise from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, and to pack up from 8.30pm - 9.00pm. Please message if you can help, even if just once a month! Feel free to message for any questions. We need enough people the end of March for the club to continue to run.
