19.01.2022 MJFNC Officials, Players, Families & Supporters, It was great to see so many players coming back to training last week. We really appreciate all of our officials, players and families for complying with the restrictions we are currently operating under. Obviously, the restrictions are very dynamic at the moment and we'll keep looking for updates on what we can and can't do and what the future of season 2020 looks like.... Our current advice for this week coming is that there's no change to last week. Until AFLVic, NFNL and Council advise otherwise, we'll stick to the max 2 x groups of 20 per ground, non-contact training and enhanced hygiene and sanitisation of equipment. We look forward to seeing everyone down there again this week and remember the basics: *Get in, train, get out *Come dressed ready to train and bring your own drink bottle *Practise social distancing and good hygiene *Don't come if unwell. Thanks

14.01.2022 MJFNC Officials, Players, Families & Supporters, Advice has been received from NFNL regarding the State Government tightening of restrictions and the positive case of COVID19 in a teacher from a local school. 1. Currently, NFNL are still planning for a season start on July 12. This will be continually reviewed and happen in line with government and AFLVic guidelines. 2. Players or Volunteers who attend any COVID19 affected school must follow advice given by DHHS relevant to t...heir situation. There is no need to isolate everyone from any given school, only those determined to be 'close contact'. They will be informed of this and given direction to isolate. Relevant advice can be found here https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/how-stay-safe-and-well-covid-19 We'll keep up to date with any changes and keep you informed. The Health & Safety of the MJFNC Family is at the forefront of our minds
14.01.2022 NFNL $25 Junior Levy The NFNL have advised that any player that registered for season 2020 will have the $25 Junior Levy rolled over to season 2021. The exception to this will be any under 17's player that registered this season, as they will not be able to play in the Junior Club next season. Matt Harris will be coordinating this and will be in touch shortly to organise the refund for those players.... If you have any questions, please send the Club a message via facebook or email [email protected].

10.01.2022 It’s that time of the year again where, as a Club, we start preparing for the next football season. While it may look a little different next season to normal, we continue to work closely with the NFNL and Council on key priorities, such as 2021 season dates and access to training grounds. We will advise updates as they occur SEASON 2021 REGISTRATIONS AND TRANSFERS Registrations open this Sunday November 1st. We will post a link on Facebook and Team App with a link to the re...gistration form. Registration fees for 2021 will remain the same as they were for 2020 - $185 for the first child, $170 for additional siblings. All junior registrations require payment of the $25 NFNL Junior Player Levy at the time of registration. If you registered and paid the $25 NFNL Junior Player Levy for season 2020, it will automatically roll over in SportsTG for season 2021. Transfers are also open from Nov 1 - Nov 30. 08.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS: It’s time to light it up After many years of discussions and meetings with the Whittlesea Council, we are excited to announce that the Whittlesea Council have now committed to upgrading the lights on our Oval 1 light towers. The work will begin in late 2020 with an expected completion date of February 2021. The upgrade of the light towers will allow for lighting levels that will now enable both the Junior and Senior Clubs to play night Footy at our Waterview ...Recreation Reserve. The project will involve replacing the existing light fittings over to an LED type fitting which will provide a clearer crisp lighting finish on our ground. We would like to thank Tom Felle, Craig Suslik, Billy Fitzpatrick and everyone else involved, including our past and present Club Committees, for all their efforts over the last few years working with the Council to make this happen. This will be a joint funded project between the Junior Football Club and the Whittlesea Council. This is a fantastic outcome for our Football Community.
