22.01.2022 On this date, 1 year ago, the very first Mernda train pulled in at 3:41AM from Flinders Street with about 100 happy people on board! From us to you, thank you - we would have never won the railway extension to Mernda without your help in our community campaign. Did you know that in 2010 there was no plan by any party to extend rail to Mernda? After the election a promise of 2032 was slated, however a promise of 2018 was then given when the politicians knew we would not give up. Congratulations to all involved, we hope you have enjoyed OUR railway over the last year!
