24.01.2022 While we may not have any students here in the Resi College our work continues! We have all been busy cleaning, organising and watching some BIG projects get underway! Something exciting for all of the Students is the replacement of the outside sports courts! The old courts have been scraped up and now the prep work for the new surface is underway! This outside court work is accompanied by upgrades to the toilet facilities in the Rec Shed! There are also some major upgrade...s happening in our kitchen with new flooring, shelving and extensions all going full steam ahead! So as you can see there is lots happening here at the Hutt! We look forward to these facilities being ready to use when everyone returns!

23.01.2022 Last night Mr Oxford took a group of students down to a sporting event at the Rec Centre and they all met former Australian Cricketer Brad Hogg! Some students were more excited than others about this Everyone who went had an absolute blast! This was a great event held in Merredin and showcased some sports that our students aren't usually exposed to in town.

22.01.2022 Our first weekend back is here! For all the parents who still have your children at home we all hope you enjoy your Mother's Day with your children! For all the parents who's children are back, we will perhaps teach them some cooking skills so they can cook you a lovely breakfast when they come home! Happy Mother's Day!! 18.01.2022 It takes a lot of people to make a Residential College run smoothly. The people behind the scenes that you may not see every time you come in to the College all work hard to help keep our College doors open and the place looking ah-mazing! On Monday we thanked our fabulous cleaning team (who are all very camera shy) with a yummy morning tea and they were all awarded with a well earned Certificate of Appreciation. Thanks just doesn't seem enough to show these lovely people how much we appreciate them all!! We hope you all enjoyed your morning tea

18.01.2022 AFL Grand Final day! A busy day with a trip to the Bruce Rock Pool with swimming, basketball and mini golf! Finished off with a footy dinner while watching the big game! Happy Days at Merredin Resi College

16.01.2022 Did you know that we have 2 memorial rose gardens within the grounds of the Residential College? This time of year these gardens are in spectacular bloom and are an absolute credit to our grounds keeper Dan.

13.01.2022 Our adventure today was out to Totadgin Rock. The Students enjoyed getting out and about. The chilly weather did not stop boys being boys and dropping some rocks in to see how deep the water was or the girls from doing a spot of fishing.....Merredin style of course (tadpoles)

13.01.2022 Measures we have put in place to keep students safe in the current Covid-19 environment. This includes having set seats, perspex placed in the dining room, set showers and social distancing among other things.

03.01.2022 Theme Night!! Once a term we have a special theme night for something different. It's a one off food lovers heaven that the students love! We also love getting into the spirit and decorate and dress up. Our Tropical Pool Party was a hit with all the students!!

01.01.2022 Wake up and smell the roses Well if you've been into MRC lately you would see that we can do just that! We have 2 beautiful memorial rose gardens here and they produce some of the most amazing roses you will ever see and smell! These roses are a credit to our departing Groundsman Danny. Our gardens always look healthy, neat and tidy thanks to Danny and all his hard work. Enjoy retirement Danny you will be missed but we are sure you will be around occasionally
