24.01.2022 This coming Sunday is the day Merredin Fine Arts Society will once again be bringing their work to the City. It has been quite a few years since we last visited and we are looking forward to our Exhibition at a new venue, Atwell Art Gallery!

23.01.2022 Are you new to the wheatbelt and or looking for a community organization to join? Have the need to create and would like the company of a group of Artists of all levels of experience who are like one happy family then why not think about joining the Merredin Fine Arts Society. Thanks to the Shire of Merredin we now have a spacious building with wonderful natural light to work in. We meet each Thursday and Saturday morning. Our art space is also set up as a gallery with a wide range of artwork on display and for sale. Enquiries can be made by sending us a message.

It rea...lly has been an outstanding success for us. Atwell Gallery has been a brilliant venue for us and would recommend this place. We have had so many visitors, lots of laughs , lots of people who know or you know from the past. It has been my privilege to have manned (with other) this exhibition all week. 17.01.2022 We had a busy day yesterday with our AGM and paintings being picked up for an exhibition in Perth. There was still plenty of time for work, two lovely studies, a pastel by Kerry Brown and a watercolour by Annette Hombergen.

13.01.2022 Brushstrokes from the Bush This exhibition has had so many beautiful comments that I must share. What all this art is from 13 artists from Merredin? OutstandingThe standard of the art is Extremely high. The art shows that you love where you live. The vibrancy is outstanding. There is so much to like. it truely is a happy exhibition Congratulations on an excellent exhibition This exhibition is one of the best. Many more as well. Have really loved the interaction with the public and the art students at the Atwell Gallery, even the children are so interested as well. Love being here. So Merredin Fine arts Society members hold your head high And be proud of your achievement, and be proud that we have given our best from the Bush to the metro area..

11.01.2022 Atwell Gallery, what a lovely venue to have an Exhibition! Our exhibition, "Brushstrokes from the bush" is well under way with our opening Sunday a great success and is still open each day until Sat. 5th Sept. We are receiving such positive feedback from our visitors and the staff at Atwell. Please spread the word, the ladies on roster each day would love to welcome anyone who has time to pop in and view our members work.

10.01.2022 After almost 52 years our arts society is still going strong with members at all stages of ability and talent. As a group we are very supportive of each other and always welcome new members. Posting some works in progress from yesterday.

06.01.2022 Online workshops are getting popular with some of our members. Jess has been participating in zoom watercolour workshops with Mike Willdridge from England. Her latest exercise was Moorish buildings.

05.01.2022 Our Big Morning Tea held at the Gallery yesterday was very successful in helping raise funds for the Cancer Council. A big thankyou to all who came and donated so generously towards a great cause! You helped raise $520.
