25.01.2022 This is why its SO important to have a booster vaccine for whooping cough every 5-10 years. Many adults arent aware that their childhood vaccination for whoop...ing cough wears off, with some only discovering this once they have contracted (and potentially spread) this disease. The Australian Immunisation Handbook recommends a booster vaccine every 10 years, but some doctors prefer to recommend every 5 or so. Speak with your GP if you think you might be due for a booster - this really is a disease that NOBODY wants to have!

20.01.2022 In an Australian first, my Government is making the influenza vaccine free for primary school aged students. While we may not have a vaccine for COVID-19, we do... have one for influenza. And we want as many Western Australians to be vaccinated as possible while we deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Thats why we took the unprecedented step of making it free for primary school aged students. So book an appointment for your child today, And while youre at it, get one yourself. It will go a long way to keeping our community healthy and safe.

05.01.2022 I know that things have been challenging for many of us lately. But please, if you can - ESPECIALLY if you are pregnant - make the time to have your whooping co...ugh vaccine. Whooping cough can be deadly in young babies - they can seem healthy one minute, and just a few days later, intubated in hospital (or worse). We dont want any baby or family to experience what Riley did - so please, prioritise your whooping cough vaccine. It literally saves lives. Every pregnancy, every baby needs protecting

01.01.2022 How do vaccines work? 1 Vaccines contain weakened non-dangerous parts of an antigen 2 It's enough that our body can learn to build the specific antibody 3... This will prompt our immune system to respond & defeat the real antigen in the future More info bit.ly/3efxPJe
