24.01.2022 Duff’s Hotel was situated on the corner of Bates and Mitchell Streets. The owner of Hotel Merredin was Mr Thomas Duff, an early 1900’s Merredin entrepreneur, Duff became the licensee of the Hotel in 1907. In 1914 Duff leased his hotel to a Mrs Robins for 7 years at a weekly rental of 16. The hotel, under Mr Duff’s ownership, had major renovations and extensions in the 1920s. Sadly, as a result of the Meckering earthquake it was demolished. Have you a story to tell about your experience whilst frequenting this magnificent building?
