05.01.2022 Congratulations to three of our artist on having their works installed into the Darwin international airport expansion! Aaron McTaggart, Kieren Karritpul and Gracie Kumbi attended the official opening on the weekend and met with Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Federal Member for Solomon Natasha Griggs. A very big thank you to Ian Kew CEO of the Darwin International Airport, Victoria Moree and other staff at the airport for all the hard work and for looking after us. A big thank you also to Judith for her help with the project and not to forget our former CEO Lizz Bott who helped the early stages of the project.

04.01.2022 Merrepen Arts will be hosting an open weekend from 29 - 31 May, during the Nauiyu Community Festival. Exhibitions and daily demonstrations, including screenprinting, traditional weaving and bush tucker, will be happening during the Nauiyu Sports Festival. Only a 2.5 hr drive from Darwin, this is a wonderful opportunity to visit the art centre and of course purchase artworks and textiles!
