We had the pleasure of commencing the new JLacy Park Equestrian facility in serpentine "Little Meadows" 2102m pine posts all punched in for initial 14 x paddocks... The clients are very hands on and DIY as much as possible, good to share knowledge and help where we can. For $6 difference. A change out from wire box brace to threaded rod means no caught between or foot traps, no more risks. ... It also means you can tighten the brace yourself as things move/compress with a spanner. So when your looking for a contractor think, do they care about the safety of your horse or just doing the cheapest easiest job possible. -food for thought.
