24.01.2022 It is with great disappointment to advise that Merrifield Market at Marnong Estate scheduled for this Saturday will be postponed. As Hume has been recently marked as one of the coronavirus hotspots area, and to support locals to stay at home, we have made this decision in the best interest of the community and market/venue staff. Whilst this is not the outcome we had hoped for we look forward to announcing future market dates when the situation settles. Thanks to everyone for your support of this exciting collaboration with Marnong Estate, and we look forward to seeing all your smiling faces sometime soon!

I love walking to the market every month and seeing it grow. My favourite stalls are Bizzy Beehive Australian Honey, Darraweit Valley Cider and I especially love to get fresh bread from Dlice Royal...e (and maybe some fresh hot cross buns or macarons!). 19.01.2022 : Unfortunately, Merrifield Market will not be operating until further notice due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in place. This means that there will be no market on the 23rd May market. We are looking forward to resuming the market as soon as it is safe and practical to do so. Please stay tuned and keep an eye out for our next market date as we will be announcing some exciting news!... Till then stay safe and we look forward to seeing you again hopefully soon!

19.01.2022 The times they are definitely a-changin... also literally at 3am Sunday. Clock will be going back by 1 hour! : We have received varied responses from the local community for going ahead with the market last Saturday. From absolute gratitude to threatening and abusive messages and phone calls. Though we fully understand that people are undergoing significant stress due to the current pandemic, we do not condone this type of behaviour towards our staff (...or anyone for that matter). We have been working under enormous pressure and it is simply unacceptable to vent your frustration in an abusive way. We will no longer engage with dialogues of this nature. However of course friendly, constructive feedback or compliments are always welcomed. We adhered by all the safety guidelines and have been keeping up to date with WHO public service announcements too. There were community members who did not have access to fresh food and were able to last Saturday. The safety of the general public has always been at the forefront of our planning. We are not sure at present what lies ahead, however, we will keep you updated once we know more.

15.01.2022 Exciting Announcement...we are moving! After two years in Merrifield, we have seen so much change to our market. It has grown from a handful of stalls to over 30 stalls and the number of people attending has increased substantially. We have teamed up with Marnong Estate just up the road from Merrifield this will now become the new venue for Merrifield Market! Your market day outing just got a whole lot better! Not only can you visit the market stalls that you have grown to... love but you now combine it with some delicious locally produced food, amazing coffee and incredible stunning views! It doesn't get much better than that! The next Merrifield market is on the 27th June, 9am - 1:30pm.
