20.01.2022 There has been no notifications regarding Total Fire Ban days because with the weather we have been having and the current situation with bushfires, you should be aware. All people should have the app (VicEmergency) on their phones should they be travelling. If you don't, download today. Stay safe.

19.01.2022 For the farmers at this busy time of year. There is a hell of a lot of hay cutting and a fair bit of rain, so be aware of your haystacks.



18.01.2022 A total of $524.30 was donated to Royal Childrens Hospital Appeal via the Merrigum Fire Brigade's virtual tin shake. Thank you to all people who donated.

15.01.2022 A battery recycling bucket organised by the Brigade is located at the Merrigum Post Office for your convenience. Unfortunately this does not include motor vehicle batteries.

09.01.2022 With people burning off prunings and rubbish collected over the Fire Danger Period (FDP) please remain with pile until burnt. The brigade have attended rubbish fires that were left unattended and escaped.

08.01.2022 For all those people who need to burn off before fire restrictions start. Registering your burn off saves the Brigade turning up to a false alarm.
