24.01.2022 How cool is this! Brauer College students Maddison Cameron, Molly Hocking, Caitlyn Coates and Sarah McConnell asked for a project they could build for our school. We set them the challenge of building a bouldering wall and they have done an amazing job! The crew raised money for materials, designed and then built the walls from scratch! Our kids absolutely love it!

21.01.2022 Wow! This has been a long time coming! The students have been waiting for a place to kick the footy for years and we've finally been able to get it done! The new footy oval saw its first official match today, thanks largely to community donations! A HUGE thanks to Anthony Wright and the team at RA Steel Warrnambool for kindly donating the goal posts and to Brad McLean from Country Lawns for getting the grass looking top notch!

20.01.2022 This term Merri River school ran its first Drumbeat course. A big thank you to all our amazing students that took part and to our brilliant volunteer Lewis. The students made two short films - one explains what Drumbeat is all about and the other is a short piece they composed to illustrate that you can all do your own thing and still work together to create something wonderful. Enjoy!

14.01.2022 Meet Opie. He is a Labrador and loves coming into Merri River School with his owner, Abbie. Opie really enjoys hanging out with people and his calm nature means that he can get more pats from students, whether they are cautious, happy or excited to see him. He has discovered his love of popping bubbles whilst he has been at the school and his favourite time of the day is recess, where he gets to see lots of people in the yard. Pictured- Opie and Brohdi

08.01.2022 Michael's love for drawing started when he was 11 and has been perfecting this talent ever since. He started with black and white drawings and has since progressed into coloured artworks. His mum and brother taught him how to draw and he used Youtube to broaden his artistic knowledge. Michael's favourite things to draw are characters from comics.
