23.01.2022 Hi everyone, Here's another snippet of life in CZ. This is the path up to Snžka the highest mountain in the country. It's only 1600m high but it was a beautiful hike to the top and beyond to the Polish border. I love this time of year as the colours of Autumn appear.

23.01.2022 Another beauty! Cheers Melissa!

22.01.2022 Hi everyone! The season is in a full swing, hitting the final lap with the shipment arriving at the end of this week. We are experiencing many inquiries on availability, which is very limited. We will hopefully have some trees available on the weekend for those who are on the waiting list. We will, however, not be sure to say how many until we offload the trees. I will believe it when I see it kind of thing. Thank you for your patience and understanding on this. We are also... flooded with the impressions of your Chrissy tree decoration efforts. The one on the picture is from Rachel. I actually recognize the corner that the tree is in. Cheers Rachel, looks amazing! That's it for now, thank you for your support and hope you are having a cracker of a Chrissy season. Best Viktor Merry Christmas Trees

13.01.2022 This will help customers to understand our season this year. Our last batch arrives this Thursday night. We must check our numbers when the trees arrive before we can notify some lucky few on the waiting list. Please don't contact us to be added to the list as it is full. If you would like to add your details to our mailing list for next year, please EMAIL your name, surname and phone number to [email protected] Thank you to everyone for your understanding and support in this truly challenging year.

09.01.2022 Arright everybody! There has been plenty of questioning lately on the real Christmas trees season 2020. We had no answers at the beginning, but with the season approaching fast, we eventually had to pull it off regardless the circumstances! So, despite the world going bit sideways ATM, we are pleased to announce, that the real Chrissy tree season with already remarkable and long not to be forgotten number 2020 is officially ON! As we are not sure if we are going to be able to... make it back to Oz for Chrissy this year, we have engaged our family, led by legendary Poppa Tony and Amy as his first deputy, together with the rest of the mob, who will be manning the operations in case we are not home yet. Which is a possibility. Those of you who have been with us before know that we always do our best to deliver the best possible experience for you as real Christmas tree fans. We really appreciate your support and hope we will be seeing you all this December. Please stay tuned on our FB page to get updates on the usual info like giveaway, location of the stall etc. The booking system on our website is live now, so feel free to book at you convenience. EARLY BIRD PRICING is AVAILABLE UNTIL 31 October 2020. Booking is highly recommended, as the supply is limited this year more than any other due to the bloody bug. That's all for now, hope you all are well. Here in Czech, September is the month of harvest, and it's been pretty good year from this point of view. So let's finish the 2020 strong, with our heads up and happy smiles on our faces. All the best and keep it real! Viktor and Jordanna Merry Christmas Trees

06.01.2022 Hi everyone. There is alot of excitement and enquiries following our last post. If you do have a problem ordering or any specific questions please PM us as it is easier to keep track of in our admin, and will ensure you don't get lost in the traffic. Jordi

04.01.2022 Hello everyone! Just a quick note from us to you all. As many of you know, me and Jordanna spend a fair part of the year living overseas, in the country of Czech Republic. Many of you guys asked us before what we do for living during our time here. My dad, Karel Molhanec, aged 76, has been growing flowers for spring markets for odd 30 years and every spring Saturday, he would get up at 5AM, pack his Skoda 120L with buckets full of the most beautiful stock of daffodils, tulip...s and other stuff and drove to the market in Prague. I have been doing the same with some of his stock for some 20 years now, with great pleasure, I have to say. Selling the results of his growing efforts has always been pure joy, without any exaggeration. This year, due to the Rona, all the markets in the entire country were canceled. But the stock is still in the garden patches, some in full bloom now. As the quarantine measures imposed in Czech has been very strong and strict from the beginning (and have to say hands down to everyone in the country for respecting them), there was not many ways left to distribute the flowers to public. Where we live is pretty flat (town of Podbrady on Labe river), just like Holland, the capital of flower growers of the world. And just like in Holland, we ride bikes heaps. So I am now cruising the streets of my hometown with a basket full of beautiful flowers, delivering them just like Christmas trees. The only difference is now I do it with a facemask on and antiseptic gel in the basket too. We have been following the course of events in Australia closely also, and I just want to say: Don't wait or worry about what anybody is telling you to do or not to do. Just stay home if you can. Take your kids out of school if you can. Buy a book on homeschooling if don't have one. And all that facemask and washing of hands and the sneezing and stuff. The sooner you will, the sooner it will all be over. It seems to work here. Anyways, sending you all warm greetings, and just a quick sample of what is going on on this side of the rock this time of the year in the garden of my dad. Hope it's going to brighten up your day. It works for me. Take care of yourselves and watch some Netflix if needs be. Have a great day Viktor a.k.a. The Christmas Tree Guy

01.01.2022 Hi everyone! We have started to get a bit of traffic on our FB page as everyone is searching for something to look forward to after such a devastating year. I truley hope Christmas will be that time when family and friends can finally be together to celebrate all they have to be greatful for.... For those of you who don't know our back story, Viktor and I have been living over in Czech Republic for some years now, splitting our lives between our 2 home countries. We come back home to Oz each year for the summer to run our business and spend quality time with our family and friends whom we miss dearly. A blessed life indeed. Last Christmas we decided we would relocate back to Oz and base our family on the Sunshine coast again. Little did we know that fate would have other plans. When we flew out of Australia early January, as the fires still raged across the south of the country, we were shell shocked. The magnitude of devastation was incomprehensible. Things really could not get worse, but by the end of January there was an inkling that things were gonna get alot heavier ....and by March, well you all know how it went. Which brings us to our current situation. In limbo. Fortunately we are not stranded like so many other expats trying desperately to get back to their homelands. We still have our apartment to live in, jobs to go to and our children were able to start school again on the 1st of Sept. So we are greatful. But we are also realistic, and our hopes of making it back to Oz by Xmas are fading. So we are preparing a plan B for Merry Christmas Trees 2020. Our aim will be to manage the admin online from over here while our trusted family crew Tony and Amy manage the stall on the Sunshine Coast. We will also heavily downsize the stock due to the uncertainty of the season. At the moment we are preparing our online ordering system and hope to have it running in a week or 2. You will be notified as soon as it's activated and we will keep you all updated with any new info regarding Merry Christmas Trees and our situation. Thankfully patience and understanding are the 2 main qualities we've all had to master this year and we ask you to keep this in mind for the upcoming Christmas tree season. Those of you that know us know customer service is our top priority, and it will continue to be our priority from wherever we are. We hope you've all managed to stay safe, healthy and sane throughout this exhausting year. Our hearts and thoughts go out to everyone struggling through it all. Hopefully with some miracle we might actually see you all this Christmas. Best wishes Jordanna and Viktor Merry Christmas Trees
