Because at the time we may be quite self critical, but when we look back on those photos and now memories, it will be with kinder eyes, and instead of criticising our looks (which a lot of us do) we will look back and say gosh remember how long my hair used to be, or oh what fun we had that day, but you can’t do that without going, and without being in the photos.
