21.01.2022 We are looking forward to finally starting the 2020 season! Good luck to all teams! ** Remember ** Teams are to arrive 30 minutes prior to the game. The team should be taken to an area for warm-up. They are not to gather around the benches of the game being played.... Teams should leave the park as soon as possible after the game. Players are encouraged to only have 1 spectator at the game. We need to limit the number of people at the ground. Note that the canteen at Merrylands Park will not be open this season. Ensure players bring water to each game

They will be communicating in detail with all clubs directly. Please hold off from taking any further action until you have heard directly from Football NSW this evening. Thank you

10.01.2022 Further update to this morning's post, I have an update from Football Australia Football Federation Australia (FFA) today advised that, after considered discussion with its nine State and Territory Member Federations and assessment of developments today, sanctioned grassroots football competitions and associated training would be suspended for the next four weeks. The decision will take effect from midnight tonight, 17 March 2020 until Tuesday, 14 April 2020.... The suspension applies to all sanctioned matches and competitions, including National Premier Leagues, FFA Cup, youth and grassroots football (including MiniRoos and futsal) as well as training and associated football related activities. Any football activity which takes place during this period is not sanctioned by the Association nor Football NSW and, therefore, the Personal Accident insurance cover that is provided as part of a player’s registration may not apply All queries regarding this announcement should be directed to Darren Ney, [email protected] We will continue to update everyone as information becomes available. 10.01.2022 ALL GROUNDS CLOSED THIS WEEKEND - MESSAGE FROM GDSFA GDSFA have decided to cancel rounds 7 & 8 and award all teams a nil all draw. Any Rd 8 matches that were moved to mid week will not go ahead. We appreciate that this decision may not be ideal, but please consider we must do what is best for the competition and our players and to try and make up 2 matches in this reduced period of time would be almost impossible.
