25.01.2022 Full respray on this beauty. Work was done through insurance as it had some malicious damage. The very meticulous customer also asked if we could paint and replace the interior carbon accents to gloss black, so we pulled apart the interior and delivered with some class. The car had some previous work and we realigned all the gaps and replaced all clips with new ones. ... We also painted every piece of gloss black on the outside of the car to have everything match. From badges, vents to bumper bar spoilers and grilles.

But for us, we know when it comes to tradesmen working on our cars we like to know - who exactly is working on my car? - are they experienced? - do they take pride in their work? - are they reliable? - is their work safe and warrantable? So for us we like to build relationships with our customers so they can trust that they will have the best workmanship and the best service. All it takes is to call up or check your policy online and see if you have choice of repairer- this way you can send the job to who ever it may be that you trust to work on your car. Here is an example of what poor workmanship can look like!

19.01.2022 Another s2000 in for some guard rolling & pumping to accommodate for the perfect wheel fitment! We start by relocating the bolt on the rear and then cutting and shaving that inside flange to allow for maximum clearance. This is a very tedious task that requires care and experience to eliminate any risk of making more damage to the vehicle. ... We use multiple techniques to achieve a pumped & wider clearance yet keeping the original look. It almost looks as if there wasnt anything done but we have allowed for almost 10mm of clearance on each side. Once that is done we make sure there is no bare metal on the inside flange and repair and paint the inside edges to prevent rust.

18.01.2022 GTR all finished and back home. Was a pleasure to work on this car, these cars demand respect and the work that goes into them needs to be top shelf. We repaired all the surface rust on the insides of the vehicle and made every thing that we can see look brand new. All new parts were used from indicators, belt moulds, rubbers, door moulds and every nut and bolt.

09.01.2022 Our good friends from Smooth As detailing gave us the task of blacking out their fresh Nissan Navara grille and fog light surrounds. Originally chrome, we use a special adhesion promoter to ensure that our paint will stick, therefore being resistant to chipping easily.

08.01.2022 Honda S2000 carbon roof in for a freshen up. The whole roof is made of carbon which makes it quite difficult to have a seamless finish. We repaired the necessary stone chips and minor crack, then painted the roof black and masked up the side carbon bits and cleared the whole roof.

We were given the task to allow for these monster tyres to fit without having to repaint the quarter panels. ... Seeing as the rear guards have had a custom repair and shape, we opted to cut the flange left over that the previous repairer had left. This allowed us to get maximum fitment without repainting the quarter panels. We also lightly pumped the edges and also tapped in the inner guards where the tyres were scraping. 06.01.2022 This gtr came to us after it had a closed door respray somewhere unknown to the customer a few years back but the old yellowing and old age of all the insides just wasnt good enough. We painted all the insides of the car full engine bay, bootfloor, deleted battery tray and welded up some holes here and there along with an extensive sealing job to sort out that 26 year old sealer. Alone with a fresh stone guard in the wheel arches ,More progress shots to come as we fit the car up with all new rubbers clips and nuts and bolts

03.01.2022 Does your car scrub the inner guards when you are driving? Chances are you are running a wider wheel and thick tyre- trust me, we know how you feel. Our good friends from Smooth As detailing had the same issue with their Honda S2000. ... This being the case you are also prone to rust as the tyre eats away at the paint and strips it to bare metal. These guards had been previously rolled from the last owner and they werent upto scratch. The guards were all warped and the shape wasnt right and they were still scrubbing. We aimed to get the best possible outcome without having to paint the outside of the guards. We used a combination of hammer & dolly, porta power (hydraulic pump) and tried to use our guard roller but the car was too low for it fit in correctly. With the correct shape achieved and then measured to make sure the tyre wont make contact with the guards, we then backtaped off the outside edge- repaired & painted the inside wheel arches to prevent any more corrosion to the vehicle. The results speak for themselves! Straight guards and no more scrubbing.
