04.01.2022 "It kind of breaks your heart and makes you feel uplifted at the same time..." CROWD-SOURCED REVIEW from INFINITE DAWN last weekend. Much thanks everyone who contributed their full feedback, from which we samples their statements together into one piece.

20.12.2021 From last night... so proud of this MESMERISM INC + JNXYZ.VISION co-presentation.

17.12.2021 James Scott has been a collaborative friend with Mesmerism for two years now, and in that time his solo bass project Bathomancy has grown in poise and stature. So pleased to have been able to present his latest, and we think greatest, incarnation, at Jungle Love 2016:

12.12.2021 Mesmerism director and sound artist Luke Jaaniste, featured in CutCommon, talking about his collaborative process with JNXYZ ahead of this Sunday afternoon's INFINITE DAWN live sonic-cinema event. http://www.cutcommonmag.com/an-infinite-dawn-with-luke-jaa/

05.12.2021 So pleased that KING COLOSSUS could join us at Jungle Love in the Mesmerism zone...

29.11.2021 Mesmerism was at Jungle Love...

09.11.2021 The Mesmerism zone got a mention in TheMusic's review of Jungle Love, with special mention of James Scott (Bathomancy) and Seamus Kirkpatrick (King Colossus): FRIDAY "Mesmerism once again becomes a space of deep contemplation, playing host to the most far reaching and boundary pushing aural experimentation within in the festival. It's a melting pot of exploration that sees a collective of artist/musicians shift between solo and collaborative modes. ... James Scott's Bathomancy project sees him flow through focused, sensual movements with his bass. It appears like a cross between martial arts, contemporary dance, and musical performance, and it's impossible to look away. Timing is everything in music, but rarely is the spatial nature of sound explored in such an engaging way as this. King Colossus has many musical faces and the one that is shown tonight is certainly his most alluring. Gorgeous vocals float over a drifting sea of melancholic melody as a wash of visuals spill over throughout. It hits you in the chest and the weight of it leaves you anchored to the feeling, long after departure." SATURDAY "... [due to major rain event] most of the Jungle Boogie acts are being shuffled into the Mesmerism space for later sets, but before they wrap things up the collective of Mesmerism artists do what they do best and take audiences on the most intense sound journey heard all weekend." http://themusic.com.au//jungle-love-festival-borumba-deer/
