25.01.2022 Hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas & New Year period. Typically I'd be shoulder deep into the Taste of Tasmania event right now but covid-19 has certainly thrown a spanner into the works of the events sector. A quick reminder, I'll be back on the road from the 4th for all your residential and commercial carpet, upholstery and tile cleaning needs. 24.01.2022 I am presently taking bookings into January 2021. The schedule prior to Christmas is fully booked. 22.01.2022 A late afternoon call for some water damage recently. Drainage issue cause by adjacent construction had caused a slow leak into the property. We were able to mitigate the damage, get on top of the odour and start the drying process. Prompt action on discovery has helped prevent further damage to the property. 20.01.2022 Hello good people, As everyone would be aware the current situation in the greater community is causing a great deal of concern and anxiety. We here at Mess Boss are not immune to the affects of COVID-19 anxiety and the associated changed circumstances it has ushered in.... There is ample information available on the virus and what you can do to minimise your risk to infection, we do not need to add to that chorus. We will however throw our voice behind the cry of supporting local small businesses after the threat has passed. 18.01.2022 Given I have seen a dramatic increase in requests for cleaning of items constructed with viscose, this article, though word heavy, is worth sharing. It provides brilliant insight into why viscose/rayon/art silk/Tencel to share some of its many names is such a poor choice for a textile covering. Two weeks ago, what was a serious but seemingly distant health issue has become a major disruption to our lives and thousands upon thousands of businesses. At the stage, we're still open and operating as 'normal' for domestic and commercial carpet, upholstery, restoration clients albeit with some changed procedures.... - don't be offended if Jeremy keeps a distance and doesn't shake hands or is wearing gloves for the duration of your clean - we are now taking payment via electronic means only - equipment is being washed down after every job and disinfected where practical to do so We fully expect there to be more disruption to businesses like ours and are keeping abreast of changes as they are announced. Commercial & office cleaning operations are not affected aside from venue or event shut downs that have occured outside of our control. 05.01.2022 A little water damage job after last week's snow caused a little havoc with many property gutters around the state. 02.01.2022 Finally finished on hull 094 for Incat this week, Buccoo Reef is now patiently waiting for its owners to arrive and sail her home. This marks the 20th vessel we have been involved with over a 7 year period. Always a challenge, always rewarding.
