22.01.2022 Police are searching for a white Toyota Hiace van that was stolen during a robbery at Lightsview on the weekend. About 8.40am on Saturday October 31, police and ambulance crews were called to Parnatti Street, after a delivery driver reported that he had been assaulted while delivering parcels. The offender then stole the victim’s white 2015 Toyota Hiace van with South Australian registration of S641BGP, and drove south towards Redward Avenue. The vehicle was later seen on Han...cock Road at St Agnes about 8.56am. The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics. The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his early 30s and was wearing a baseball cap, black hooded jumper, grey pants and running shoes. Anyone who sees the van is asked to call the Police Assistance Line immediately on 131444. 11.01.2022 A driver has been reported for drink driving following two separate crashes overnight in Rosewater. Just before midnight on Sunday November 1, police were called to a business on Grand Junction Road, where a Holden Commodore had driven through the front doors before crashing into the interior common wall of the adjacent business. Investigations revealed the same driver had crashed into a letterbox of a house on Elizabeth Street a short time earlier while driving a Holden util...ity. Police will allege the driver jumped out of the utility before driving off in the Commodore sedan. The 27-year-old man from Rosewater was breath tested and returned an alleged blood alcohol reading of 0.084. He has been reported for aggravated drive without due care and drink driving and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date. He was also issued with an immediate six month loss of licence and both vehicles were impounded for 28 days. 08.01.2022 A man has been arrested after he was found snooping inside a building site at South Plympton early this morning. Just before 3.30am on Thursday November 26, Southern District police patrols were called to a building site on Pleasant Ave, after a security company reported a person with a torch walking around inside the site. On patrols arrival, they cordoned off the area and called in a police dog patrol. ... Police dog Judge and his handler searched the site locating a man inside one of the new apartments pretending to be a statue! The 29-year-old man from Seaton was arrested and charged with being on unlawfully on premises, he has been refused police bail as police checks revealed he had an outstanding court warrant.
08.01.2022 Mango lovers are being urged to keep an eye on their produce. A withdrawal of all mangoes from a Northern Territory producer is currently underway, at the request of the Department of Primary Industries and Regions, following confirmation of fruit infested with Jarvis fruit fly maggots. Executive Director of Biosecurity Nathan Rhodes said a member of the public, having noticed something unusual in their purchased fruit, contacted the department, which made it able for them to... quickly confirm the presence of fruit fly. Mr Rhodes said the incident is a clear illustration on the importance for shoppers to report anything unusual in their fruit purchases, particularly any that have come from interstate. If you see anything at all unusual particularly any signs of maggots place the fruit in a sealed bag or container and contact the Fruit Fly Hotline on 1300 666 010 immediately, he said. See more

07.01.2022 Police are currently searching for Jason Burdon who escaped from the Adelaide Remand Centre this morning. Burdon is 33-years-old and described as about 165cm, with a medium build and light brown hair. About 12.45pm it is believed Burdon stole a black Toyota RAV4 with registration S279BBL, from Military Road at West Lakes Shore. The car is distinctive with silver roof racks and a camping awning on one side. Anyone with information on his whereabouts or possible sightings of him or the stolen Toyota is advised not to approach, but to contact the police assistance line on 131 444 or in an emergency triple zero (000).

03.01.2022 A man was arrested after he stole a car from Hindley Street and then crashed the car at Lockleys a short time later. Just after 10pm on Monday November 2, a delivery driver stopped in Hindley Street to pick up a food order, leaving the engine running in his unattended Toyota Camry. Moments later the driver returned to find his car heading west down Hindley Street. Police communications then received several reports of the stolen silver Camry driving erratically on West Terra...ce and then Sir Donald Bradman Drive.At 10.15pm the stolen car crashed at the intersection of Tapleys Hill Road and Sir Donald Bradman Drive at Lockleys, colliding with another vehicle after the Camry disobeyed a red light. The male suspect in the stolen car then ran from the scene, with police patrols setting up cordons in the area and calling a police dog patrol. Police dogs, Marley and Arnie searched the back streets of Lockleys and then into Export Park next to the airport, where the suspect was located. The 33-year-old man from Oaklands Park was arrested and charged with illegal use, driving in a manner dangerous, driving disqualified and fail to stop after a crash. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash, a 50-year-old luckily escaped the crash at Lockleys with only minor injuries and was treated at the scene. See more
03.01.2022 A woman has been arrested following a domestic related stabbing incident at Athol Park this morning. Just before 9am on Thursday November 26, police and ambulance crews were called to Athol Park, after a man had been allegedly been stabbed. On arrival, a 50-year-old man was treated for a single stab wound to the chest, before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious but stable condition. Western District Police investigating the incident searched the area, loca...ting the alleged suspect a short distance away, after she walked from the house shortly after the incident. A 43-year-old woman from Angle Park has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault cause harm. The incident is domestic related with both persons known to each other. Police also seized a knife similar to a steak knife at the scene which is believed to be the weapon used in the incident. See more
