21.01.2022 Water for Life :- The Metamorphic Africa team spent a few days out in a community teaching and handing out water filters. The leaders and people of the community are working together with pastor Jonah (who attended metamorphic training a few years ago) - to transform the community by tackling the water issues that exist. Soon construction of a well and storage tanks will start along with continued health and hygiene training. This is all about empowerment of the community with Jonah working hand in hand with all members of the community so together they can create a better future. #transformation #empowrment #uganda #water #waterforlife

21.01.2022 Metamorphic and the church planters worked with schools in rural areas from different provinces to implement health and hygiene projects called School WASH Education (SwashE). We provide latrines, hand washing facilities and clean water filters and the teachers teach hygiene and sanitation to all the students. As a result, thousands of students are happy to use the latrines in the schools and wash their hands regularly, they can drink clean water from the filters. All the students receive basic hygiene education from the teachers, and they carry the lessons to teach their household. The students are healthy and class attendance has increased. 19.01.2022 Recently our Metamorphic Africa team working with local community leaders distributed 50 water filters . The community leaders also taught the recipients on health and hygiene. That’s 50 households that can now drink water they know is clean and safe ! - the community worked together to purchase these subsidised filters and are now happily using them in their homes . The next goal is to construct a well and install a solar pump so that the community has a good water supply. #transformation #uganda #water #life #beTheDifference #empowerment

17.01.2022 Our Metamorphic Asia team have been busy in Cambodia with a School Wash Education (S-WASH-E) program in Thmor Poc primary school in Takeo province. They sent this report : School Principle Mr. Preak Leangsun and 400 students are grateful to be part of the S-wash-E project. Through this SwashE project the students learn about basic hygiene and how to access clean drinking water with practical lessons on washing their hands regularly. 10.01.2022 Just completed a fantastic week in Uganda training church planters who all are making significant impact in their communities. A lot of these men and women are living and working in difficult places but they are passionate about bringing Gods kingdom into these areas. All are super active in their communities and are gaining so much influence (one guy is even working on a national government level) - story’s of hundreds of Muslim people accepting Christ and miracles taking place - love training these wonderful men and women of God and being part of what they are doing across this nation .#transformation #metamorphic # Africa #agentsofchange

08.01.2022 In these crazy times across the world with countries and governments wrestling Covid19 - Our church planters along with community leaders are finding ways to bring hope and positive solutions in their areas. One way they are doing this is by empowering the people with skills in hygiene and sanitation through a WASH training program. This is being done in small groups and households. In the village in these photos , water is a huge issue - however through partnership with the local community and entrust foundation we are about to construct a brand new well with solar pump in the centre of the community which will provide much needed water to the entire village. #transformation #empowerment #water #metamorphic #stopthespread

01.01.2022 Here is an fantastic update from our Metamorphic Asia team: The new School Wash Education (S-WASH-E) in Ponheakok Secondary School in Takeo province was completed the other day. The school principle, teachers and students are very happy to have new latrines in the school and clean water filters in their classrooms. All the students are receiving basic hygiene education from the teachers and are all drinking clean water and using the skills they have been taught in regards t...o hygiene. This would not have been possible without our partners so a huge thanks to the all the those who were involved in this project. 01.01.2022 Over the past few weeks we have been getting reports from some of the leaders that have been through the metamorphic training programs in Uganda. These reports tell encouraging stories of impacted lives . These leaders are teaching their communities about health , sanitation & hygiene. They are doing projects to help food security through agricultural programs and initiatives. It’s amazing to see the passion , commitment and love these men and women show to ALL people in their communities !
