15.01.2022 NAIDOC Week 2020 The theme of NAIDOC week 2020 is Always Was, Always Will Be. This recognises that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people were Australia's first people who cared for and occupied the land for 65,000 years. Students have celebrated NAIDOC Week 2020 by completing a variety of activities within their classrooms. They have investigated Aboriginal Dreamtime stories, learnt about the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island flags, completed a variety of indigenous art activities and participated in a variety of indigenous games. It has been wonderful to see our students engage in these activities with great enthusiasm.

11.01.2022 We had a wonderful Kindergarten Orientation Day today! Our Kindergarten teachers loved meeting the new 2021 Kindergarten students and showing them around the school. We all had a wonderful time playing games with our new friends, completing art activities, reading books and searching for Captain Metella in our playground! We look forward to seeing them at "Big School" next year!

06.01.2022 Important message for parents: Please ensure that children come to school with a full water bottle. To ensure COVID safe practices, students are unable to drink from the water bubblers. With the weather heating up, it is important that students have their own water bottles.

05.01.2022 Opportunity Class Placements: The Opportunity Class placement results will be emailed to parents in mid-January 2021. Parents will only have one week to respond to the offer. We would like to urge parents to watch their emails (or depute someone else to respond on their behalf if they will be out of contact when the results are released), as offers will lapse if parents do not respond in time.
