25.01.2022 Met Galleries has permanently closed. The artists who contributed to the gallery to make it the vibrant place it was for so long send a heartfelt thank you to our valued clients and supporters. Many of the artists are continuing art interests individually but have disbanded the Met Galleries Store, website and Facebook page. Until we meet again. Take care.

Our not for profit gallery loves to showcase works by our creative local and regional artists. 23.01.2022 Well we all enjoyed a fantastic evening at the gallery tonight ... if you missed the opportunity pop in soon and see whats new. Its the perfect spot, just behind the Chocolate Cottage, so you can have a coffee too and sit in the beautiful gardens and look at the views. Shhhh.....we have been told we are the best artist run cooperative gallery within Queensland

Hand made from the most beautiful stone, you have to see it to appreciate the detail in it, Chris Darvall has absolutely got the best out of the piece.... come along to our drinks evening on Friday after work and view it, if its still here! 09.01.2022 As stricter social distancing measures come into effect, we will be adjusting our trading to comply with this. Our wonderful Chocolate Cottage has converted to solely take-away services, and all tables and chairs have been removed from the lawns as required by new laws. As of now shops on the Village Green are still opening, with an earlier closing time of 3pm. Any changes to this will be updated as they happen. For anyone whos been considering buying an artwork - now is the time. It is VERY quiet here, so no problems with social distancing, and many of our artists have heavily discounted their works for sale. (Many are half price.) We are moving into uncharted times, lets all stay safe and look after each other.

They make a pretty good team. Its going to be a good year!..... Sylvia has an exciting year ahead with exhibitions to get ready for and to keep out gallery well supplied to. Her glass works are always evolving and changing, there is beauty in each one.
