25.01.2022 Sermon Title: Key to Godly Relationship Text: Philippians 1-2:1, Matthew 18:23-35 September 13, 2020 I. BASIS OF PAUL'S APPEAL... Paul bases his appeal on five considerations. Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. (1) He reminds them of the solace they enjoy in Christ: Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ. (2) If any comfort of love (3) If any fellowship [koinonia: sharing] of the Spirit. reminded of Paul’s 1:27: that you stand fast in one spirit. He is continuing his appeal for unity. (4) If any affection and mercy. Has the Lord been merciful to you? (5) Finally, Paul makes it very personal when he adds in verse 2: fulfill my joy II. SPECIFICS OF PAUL'S APPEAL In verse 2 he writes: by being like-minded. The Greek translated like-minded is to auto phronete. The same word is used in verse 5, Let this mind [phroneo] be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. (1) Jesus did not grasp for equality with the Father. (2) He was not self-promoting. He made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. (3) He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 22.01.2022 Paragraph 75 of Wesleyan Methodist of Australia states. The Wesleyan Methodist Church has grown out of a revival movement which has historically given itself to one mission--the spreading of scriptural holiness throughout every land. The message which ignited the Wesleyan revival was the announcement that ... 1) God through Christ can forgive a person their sins, transform them, free them from inbred sin, enable them to live a holy life, and bear witness to their heart that they are indeed a child of God. 2) The message was based on the Scriptures, was verified in personal experience, and came not only in word but in the power of the Spirit. It was dynamic and contagious and was communicated from heart to heart and from land to land. ---this means every member reverently devote themselves to share the word of God. ---Just as the COVID VIRUS, every member effectively infected the whole land with their like transform into Christ-Like.

22.01.2022 The Transforming Power of God Exodus 4:1-9 1) Turn an extra stuff into extra ordinary (v. 2-5)... 2) Turn sinful to wholeness (v 6-8) 3) Will turn the unrepentant to judgement (v. 9)

20.01.2022 Sermon Title: Does God Have A Plan For Our Lives? Text: Mark 9:30-37 September 20, 2020 The sad reality is, that many people today, has no longer have a concept of God as the Creator of the universe, and the giver of life here on earth. ... We are God’s creation! It all starts with that understanding. We are not gods unto ourselves Was it God’s plan to send his Son into the world to die on the cross? 19.01.2022 Sermon Title: Who Do You Say I Am? Matthew 16:13-20 Jesus and His disciples are out on the road, making their way to Caesarea Philippi, a bustling port city the Galilee.... Jesus asks them, Who do people say the Son of Man is? And they tell Him that people are saying all sorts of thingsas people tend to do, some say He’s John the Baptist. Others say He’s the prophet Elijahwho was thought to return before the end times. Others say Jeremiahanother one of Israel’s prophets who had his own tensions with the authorities and suffered mightily for it. But then Jesus turns the question to His disciples, and asks what seems to be the question He wanted to ask all along: Peter replied,You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God. Again Jesus asked,But what about you? Who do you say I am? Once again join us as we meditate God's word and be blessed. 18.01.2022 Faith to the God Father We believe the Father is the source of all that exists, whether of matter or spirit. With the Son and the Holy Spirit, He made man, male and female, in His image. By intention He relates to people as Father, thereby forever declaring His goodwill toward them. In love, He both seeks and receives penitent sinners. SUPPORTING VERSES FROM BIBLE Ps. 68:5 5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.... Isa. 64:8 But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. Matt. 7:11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! John 3:17 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Rom. 8:15 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, Abba! Father! I Peter 1:17 17 And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one's deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile,

17.01.2022 I stood at the kitchen sink washing a bottle, listening to my baby cry from the living room. He was safe in his crib, his diaper had just been changed, but he w...as hungry. I hated hearing my baby cry, but I knew he was okay. And though he couldn’t understand it, I was preparing exactly what he needed, what he was crying for. In just a few minutes, with a full bottle in hand, I would pick him up and his cries would stop. Standing over that kitchen sink, my heart realized how many times I have been in his place. I’ve been crying, safe and loved, but crying out to my God. My prayers shouting to Him exactly what I wanted, what I needed, but they were met with silence. I couldn’t see Him. I didn’t recognize the work He was doing. And though I couldn’t understand it, He was preparing exactly what I needed, what I was crying for. If you have found yourself in a season of crying out to God, wondering where He is or what He’s doing, remember that your Father in Heaven loves you more than you can imagine. He’s standing in the next room, listening to your cries, preparing what you need. You have not been abandoned. You are not alone. Your God is at work. He hears your cries. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18, NIV)

15.01.2022 CONTINUATION OF ASTICLE ABOUT TRINITY: The Holy Spirit / As Part of Triune or Trinitarian God We believe in the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father and the Son, and is of the same essential nature, majesty, and glory, as the Father and the Son, truly and eternally God.... He is the Administrator of grace to all and is particularly the effective Agent in conviction for sin, in regeneration, in sanctification, and in glorification. He is ever present, assuring, preserving, guiding, and enabling the believer. Job 33:4 The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Matt. 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. John 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. John 14:16-17 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever. John 15:26 But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me. John 16:13-15 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come. Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land.

11.01.2022 #Sermon Title: Faith that Pleases God #Text: Hebrews 11:6-7, 5-16 #August 30, 2020 I want you to see something interesting, Hebrews 11:5-7... By faith Noah with God. Enoch walked with God The Bible is telling us, that if we’re going to please God, it’s going to be in the way we live. It’s going to be based on our lifestyle. There is no substitute for faith when it comes to pleasing Him. 1) When we are not living a lifestyle of faith that pleases God, we are being DISOBEDIENT. 2) When we are not living a lifestyle of faith that pleases God, we are DISHONORING Him. 3) When we are not living a lifestyle of faith that pleases God, we are bringing SHAME to Him. Think about that for a minute. If the only thing the world knows about Jesus is what they see in you, are you bringing shame to the Christians. The world is going to judge Christianity by you. 02.01.2022 The Son of God/Jesus Christ We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, truly God and truly man. He died on the cross and was buried, to be a sacrifice both for original sin and for all human transgressions and to reconcile us to God. Christ rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven, and there intercedes for us at the Father’s right hand until He returns to judge all humanity at the last...Continue reading
