25.01.2022 Hi , We find that with our older ones playing and the younger ones cruising around the floor it is a lot harder than it used to be with only one little one. Oh the LEGO , why do our older ones insist on playing with tiny LEGO pieces out of there play area ? Enter Dyson , he quickly finds the tiny lego much to the upset of the older ones !

13.01.2022 FULL TIME CHILDCARE , IS IT WORTH IT ? Working mothers earning as little as $5 an hour after childcare, tax, study shows. Story courtesy of ABC News. ... Mothers with full-time jobs are earning as little as $5 an hour after paying tax and childcare costs, and in some cases are "going backwards" financially, a study has found. *Study finds costs take up to two thirds of mothers wages *Women on average income earn $5.08 on fifth day after deductions Advocates call for more accessible and affordable childcare The Australian National University (ANU) study, commissioned by a leading childcare provider, found a working mother could lose up to two-thirds of her gross earnings in tax and childcare fees. The ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods calculated that a woman on an average income would be left with $22.39 an hour for the first day of work, $13.83 for the second day and $5.08 on the fifth day. Women on a lower income would actually be losing money by the fifth day. As a self-employed architect and mother of two young children, Canberra woman Shannon Battisson said she could not afford to keep her children in day care all week. "Its not actually affordable for me to have my kids in day care for five days a week, so I work a full-time load but have my kids in care only four days a week," she said. "I make up the rest of the hours on weekends and in the evenings, so that I am able to basically afford to be able to keep working. "I cant afford to work in business hours that fifth day." Researcher Ben Phillips said the findings showed women on lower wages were the hardest hit. "We found for a low-income case where a woman was earning only around $43,000 per year, when you include her husbands wage youll also find shes going backwards financially on the fifth day," he said. "What drives that is youve got say childcare costs of around $9 an hour or around say $90 a day, shes paying tax at around 32 cents in the dollar for around $43,000 a year, shes losing family payments. "So shes actually losing money by turning up for work." Women earning a higher income of $66,000, including their partners wage, are also worse off by $90 by their fifth day of work. Your beautiful five-month-old baby boy, who has been the most perfect little angel since birth, has suddenly turned into a cranky, fussy, drooling, chews-on- everything-in-site little monster! He is now keeping you up half the night, and needs to be held, bounced, and nursed all day long.... Welcome to the wonderful world of teething! Here are some practical tips to help you and your baby get through this growing stage: 5 signs your baby is teething Bulging gums you can actually see the outline of the teeth as they are bulging inside the gums. The middle bottom teeth are usually the first place this happens. Drooling it will seem like someone left a drool faucet on inside your babys mouth. Fussing your baby will often become cranky and more difficult to console. Biting your baby will start chewing on everything he can get his hands, or gums, on his fingers, your fingers, toys, and especially the breast. Night waking most babies sleep fairly well between one and four months of age, but now the honeymoon is over! Beginning around four months of age, baby may start waking up much more frequently at night. Remedies for teething Anything cold here are a variety of cool favourites: Frozen teething rings Ice rub an ice cube along babys gums. Frozen juice slushy or Popsicle Cold spoons Frozen bagel or banana Frozen washcloth Medications , Please consult your Doctor for advice on Medications that may provide pain relief for baby. Teething gels there are various over-the-counter gels, pastes, or liquids that numb the gums. Pat the gums dry with a washcloth, then apply a small amount only on the area of the gums that is bulging. There are several drawbacks to these, so we suggest you only use them as a last resort because: They taste terrible They travel throughout the mouth in the saliva and can numb the tongue and lips It is easy to use too much Baby may swallow too much 4 teething symptoms that are harmless There are several symptoms most babies exhibit during teething. DONT WORRY. These are only temporary and normal. Drool rash your baby may get a red, raised rash on the face, lips, chin, neck, and chest. Gently wash with warm water and pat dry. A lanolin ointment is a good treatment. Diarrhoea this is generally mild and does not require any special treatment. Fever baby may experience low-grade fevers less than 38c . If your baby has a fever higher than this, please consult your doctor. Cough the abundance of saliva often drips down babys throat and can cause coughing or gagging. We really hope this helps. PS .
