23.01.2022 Dear Maryborough Community, During these uncertain and hard times, Metro is committed to the health and well-being of our community and provide customers with fuel and convenience needs. We understand these difficult times pose many problems therefore we are doing our part by providing the community with the best competitive fuel prices. Furthermore, our petrol station is properly disinfected after every half an hour, this includes the pump browsers as well as the counters an...d inside of the store. We also ensure that paper towels are always available for customers to use when they are filling up their cars at the pump browsers. By ensuring that the community’s safety is prioritized, we are also practising the 1.5m social distancing measures and we believe that the strong community of Maryborough can rise above this situation and by helping one another, we will be out of this soon together. Please make sure you are taking care of yourself and washing hands as often as possible!

It is our duty to ensure that the community feels safe and supported during these difficult times which is why Metro wants to assure the community that safety is our number 1 priority. Therefore, high standards of hygienic practices around the service station are being maintained and all necessary precaut...ions are being taken. We have also launched several things to further assist the community which are as followed: We are now selling high quality, 3-ply Face Mask Packs of 12 for a price of $25 Metro also offers a range of 500 ml and 100ml sized hand sanitizers available for purchase Due to increased requests of pantry items from the community during the previous lockdown, we have arranged for several everyday household items and pantry items which are now available to purchase at the service station to accommodate for the requests.
