18.01.2022 WA’s Labour Party has announced a $259 million policy package to boost green manufacturing over the next 5 years. Majority will go towards 1,000 Stand Alone Power Systems, creating a demand for locally manufactured power systems, (inc solar panels, batteries and hydrogen electrolysers) driving hundreds of local manufacturing jobs, as well as replacing the demand for poles, wires and diesel gen-sets across remote communities.

The final result for the project was a 12kW Solar System, 3 x Tesla Powerwall 2 Batteries and a Tesla Backup Gateway. The benefit of a backup gateway is to provide energy management to the Powerwall, allowing you to monitor energy use and manage backup energy reserves, from the Tesla app on your mobile device. ...
