14.01.2022 When I'm designing a pattern, it's about filling a need from my own life. I love a slightly smaller bag because it stops me collecting so much 'stuff'. I also don't love swapping bags, because there's always a risk that I'll forget something! The Hedy can be used as a clutch, and will fit all the essentials (and that's pens and an A5 bullet journal for me). It can be worn over the shoulder, or as a cross body bag. 09.01.2022 It's a chilly Friday night in Brisbane and it has me thinking about sunshine and spring, and that's what inspired this creation! I hand cut the flowers as it let me maximise the use of small bits of left over leather. Kangaroo leather made in Queensland, and the lining fabric is designed by a Brisbane artist. 08.01.2022 Working on an extra special project at the moment, and couldn't resist a sneak peek! My mum recently moved house, and gifted me these beautiful hand painted silk scarves she created. Some are dated 1989 and Townsville, and they have the saturated colours of the tropics and they bring back so many memories! 01.01.2022 Awhile ago I ice dyed some Liberty Tana lawn cotton (it felt naughty) for a dress and loved the results. This pink leather is the perfect match!
