09.01.2022 It is with heavy hearts that we announce we are no longer able to proceed with our 31st St Patricks Day Parade tomorrow, March 14th 2020. Unfortunately with the ban of gatherings of more than 500 in place from Monday, it became clear we should not proceed with the parade. It is out of consideration for our participants, volunteers and organisers that we have made this decision. The parade will not be rescheduled this year. In light of the recent announcement from our Prime ...Minister, discussions with Council and QLD Health, we strongly believe it is in the best interests of our community, and wider Brisbane to keep your health paramount. Please accept our sincere apologies for such a short notice and any inconvenience this may have caused. So much has gone into the organisation of the parade over the last year and we really appreciate everyones dedication, enthusiasm and passion. It saddens us to not be able to share the fruits of everyones hard work this year. We hope you do all celebrate being Irish in your own way over the coming days and we look forward to bringing back the Brisbane Irish celebrations again in 2021. Please share this notification.
