25.01.2022 Championship news The Australian championships are coming up fast Where: pacific paradise state school Hall. Pacific Paradise (Sunshine Coast) ... When: July 17th Start times: 8am to 6pm Last years Australian championships was such a success, with parents and students waiting outside until their category was on due to CovId. We have decided will be running with this operation again. This time with more gazebos, better sound system outside, more bins. So to make it as confortable as possible please bring fold up chairs or picnic blankets. We encourage all students to do the championships, although it’s not compulsory it is recommended. The lessons of friendly competition teach kids about having a go, good sportsmanship, overcoming fear, being there for fellow students and so much more. We often get asked who can compete? The answer is absolutely everyone and anyone. We have mighty Matts categories that are the cutest thing! With hand drills, 3 kick combo, wave master and the most popular category the flying side kick Juniors and adults can do, hand drills, 10 kick combo, kickboxing drill, kata/forms, and sparring.
