25.01.2022 Today is world mental health day, and it’s a great day to get out and go for a walk with a friend or family. A team of Hawks have pledged their support and are walking in support of people who are affected by mental health. So far our initial fundraising goal of $3000 has been well and truly smashed, with $6300 raised so far. Thank you all that have donated to our fundraiser, your support is incredibly appreciated. Shout outs to Nicole Macdowell who is currently leading our ...walkers/runners clocking up 63 kms and to Johnno Hevern with 58 kms under his belt. 1 in 5 people experience symptoms of mental illness each year. 24.01.2022 This year the Toyota Good for Footy Raffle is online, with some pretty amazing cars up for grabs as the prizes!! Please support our club by purchasing a ticket, prices are starting as low as $5! Monbulk Football Netball Club will receive 100% of all the funds raised from ticket purchases, our goal with this money is to put it toward the purchase of a club van, which will assist getting our players, community members and club members to and from social functions and games ...safely. Funding will also go toward our Wellbeing Committee, and strengthening the mental health focus of our club through one-on-one mentoring and wellbeing programs delivered to our playing and club community. Anything helps, please assist us in reaching our goals as a community club. We cant wait to see one one of the winners be from Monbulk driving around in their new digs!! 23.01.2022 Hi All, Monbulk Testing Clinic for Coronavirus will be open weekdays from 9-4pm commencing today. This is located at the Monbulk Recreational Grounds in the fo...otball Pavilion entering from David Hill Rd. This is a booking only service and bookings must be made on 8652 0451 between 8:45 am and 12:00pm. In the interest of community safety please DO NOT attend the clinic without a booking. Please self isolate after testing and do not go shopping or socialise at the testing site. The local police are aware of testing. The aim of this clinic is to provide local testing for families or individuals in a controlled environment.

23.01.2022 UPDATE Throughout the course of tonight & tomorrow night the AFL Outer East is meeting with its clubs discussing the next steps forward for the 2020 competition...s. Following these meetings, all clubs will provide feedback on what teams they wish to enter in Season 2020. This will be for all competitions. Confirmation of what competitions we will provide in season 2020 will be announced Monday June 29th. Start dates and competition details for all confirmed competitions will be provided on Monday 29th June. Decisions on Junior Football and Netball, Senior Netball, Vets and Women's will all be made independently of Senior Football. Junior sport, including Under 18 Football and Under 17 netball remain a priority. We understand that all of our stakeholders, participants, volunteers and clubs would like clarity for the rest of 2020, which we will provide in detail next week. We thank everyone for there patience and support during this ever changing landscape.

21.01.2022 A huge acknowledgment to the achievements of our Hawks & Hawkettes over the month of October, who walked/ran a combined effort of 1,935 kms - should out to Nicole Macdowell who walked/ran the most with 265kms! Thank you to all of the individuals and groups who donated to our fundraiser - the generosity we saw from our community was incredible and our Club finished in the top 50 groups for fundraising (number 32!) raising an absolutely incredible $7,480. Monbulk is a club tha...t puts a focus on mental health and how we can prioritise the mental health support of our players, members and the community. We know that the money raised will be well spent providing Australians with the support they need to help them through times where they may be struggling. We feel honoured to be able to be a part of a fundraiser like this, and again would like to thank our sponsors for helping us reach and smash our targets. Go Hawks!

21.01.2022 MFNC would like to extend our congratulations to star Womens CHB Lisa Boyle and her partner Mitch on the healthy arrival of their daughter Riley Nicole Elsum Riley was born on 20/6 at 7.02am, weighing in at 3.35kg, 51cm tall with a head circumference of 33cm. Cant wait to see Riley pulling on the Maroon and Gold in the future!
