25.01.2022 Riley's doesn't happen without our amazing Sponsors..... this year Hygain / Mitavite have stepped up their commitment to MFSR & Riley's with an extended range to choose from and nutrition advice on all the products available....oh....and.....another gift from them to all riders - watch your emails in the coming days for this information and how to confirm your selection for the 2020 ride

23.01.2022 *MAN FROM SNOWY RIVER BUSH FESTIVAL 2020 POSTPONED* As a result, Riley’s Ride is also postponed. After the heartache of this summer's bushfires, it is with deep regret we must postpone this year's festival and Riley’s ride following governmental advice. Our team and supporters have worked tirelessly in the lead up to MFSR festival 2020 often putting it before their personal situations, please bare with us whilst we chart a path forward in the coming days. ... This decision comes following advice around mass gatherings from the Australian Government and consultation with Visit Victoria CEO Brendan McClements on Friday, March 13th. MFSR Bush Festival 2020 was due to take place in Corryong 2nd to 5th April 2020, given current circumstances the festival cannot proceed as planned in April. Ticketholders, Competitors and Vendors are advised to hold onto their paperwork. We are currently working on the possibility of rescheduling to a September date. We will confirm the details and advise you as soon as possible in the next week. We understand the serious nature of COVID-19 and will continue to comply with the latest advice from the government and health authorities to protect the health and safety of festival-goers and our High-Country community. To say we are gutted is an understatement, the hundreds of hours put in over the last couple of months recovering from the fires and then the heavy rains to get the ride to happen only to be stopped by COVID-19 is beyond words. I am truly sorry for this but we simply have no choice based on formal correspondence from the Government. We will be in touch in the coming days / weeks once we are able to advise on forward dates and other policies with regards to your entries. We will run Riley’s, and you all have a spot in the ride - we just need a date!! Cheers Cam Jackson Riley’s Ride - Event Manager

13.01.2022 Why is Riley’s special........ well........ it’s about the amazing people we get to meet each year on this ride. So let me tell you a story............ John Waddell rode on last years ride, just days after the fires this year my phone rang and it was John wondering where he could help? Along the way we have met his amazing family and friends who have made several trips to Corryong FROM BALLARAT!! delivering over 200 bales of hay for local farmers, dog food, pet supplies an...d even a Camper trailer for a family that lost the lot!! This weekend they fronted up again for a working bee at the festival grounds working their ring off for the last couple of days cleaning up, improving and building in the Pack Horse, Bare Back obstacle, general grounds and the Cross Country course which was totally destroyed in the fires. The jump in the photo will he known as the Ballarat Waddell jump - many in the future will not know what that means.......... but we do - thanks you good humans See more
