25.01.2022 Heya team. Coach Mick here (yes I do that a lot). . hope you guys are having a legendary Iso week here on the lovely @sunshinecoast . . I promised to try and bring you some fun and challenging workouts for you to try and practice at home.... . These are designed to complement your current training regimes (let's talk if you don't) as activators or warm ups. None the less they are challenging enough if done the right way, with the right variables. . Volume is key here and second is tempo. Do sets and reps in 20's and in sets of 4.(4x20) Count your tempo in Mississippi 'a and for a 3 count for both phases. Concentric & Eccentric loading is huge when upping you Time Under Tension. it pumps a higher demand on relevant muscle groups &their fibres while also putting a demand on the muscles endurance load. . 21.01.2022 #Repost @anytimefitnesscurrimundi For Zoe the recent 8 Week Challenge presented more challenges than just fitness and nutrition. Zoe persevered through health scares and graduating high school and still got the results she is aiming for. "So I started the challenge because it gets me into a routine in something I enjoy and I wanted to improve my overall strength and improve muscle tone. ... I learnt that throughout the challenge it was not going to be easy. I started off strong and it got a little harder when I started to get sick (other reasons not because of the challenge) Due to being sick I did put a bit more of my normal routine in as well as the Challenge to keep me going while recovering from an appendix scare. Through the entire challenge I showed up and would push myself as much as I could. To continue my transformation I’m using the diet provided as a key to help improve the daily diet as well as fitting in a workout when i get the chance. She knew very little about how to use the equipment or where to begin with her goals. With the help of her friend Christine and coach @mg.performanceandcoaching Rach has lost over 6kg and is still keeping on top her goals. "I did the 8 week challenge as I had just joined the gym, it was a great way to get into the swing of t...hings at the gym, new routine and learning how to eat properly and exercise program. 14.01.2022 THIS IS WHAT IT TAKES . Over the last six years building my brand of Coaching and establishing Mg Performance & Coaching on the Sunshine Coast I've learnt some of the most important lessons in my life. It is also very apparent in my coaching and the foundations I have built. I would like to share them with you. . Roots- I'm sure you would have learned this before but not grasped the concept fully. I know I didn't. "If you think you can overlook grounding yourself before ...wanting to grow then you will find it very hard to find stability". Imagine if your approach to nutrition & training was all over the place and you never really synced to anything you where doing. Nothing will work long term and you will run around in circles! . Stress- If I told you this is what makes all the wheels turn you would call me a mad man. Properly learning how to manage your stress on all levels is mastery of the mind. From exercise, sleep, hydration, mindfulness, nutrition and work stresses you can cop your fair share. Embrace it and learn to use it in your favour. Remember the meaning of insanity, "doing the same thing over and over hoping it will work". . Synergy- As an athlete, gym goer or fitness enthusiast you need an appropriate balance between your goals and your abilities. If you are constantly reaching for the top of the mountain and not doing what's required along the way, your body will slide backwards down that mountain. If your coach isn't pulling you back a peg often enough and always patting you on the back you will never develop. Humility and humbleness is what will allow you to progress. Not an ego! . The Fire- This is going to your most important weapon in your toolbox. Relentless passion and will power to achieve your goals. On all levels of life, you need to live it, learn it, try it, pursue it, know when to move on from failure quickly and overcome it with conviction. 02.01.2022 Heya guys . . Here is a little piece I have put together for you! Use this to kill the bordem and blow off some steam while living the Iso- life. By all means take this outside and gets some sunshine or even incorporate this with a walk. 20 - Do all these exercises in sets of 20.... - If they are single sided do them in 10 per side. - Go through each exercise in this manner, then rest for 2 mins. - Repeat 5 times .
