15.01.2022 Attended the MYOB Accountants Roadshow this morning with keynote speaker Peter Costello. He was a great speaker - told some great stories - and told us to bring the emphasis back on productivity. We were lucky enough to sit behind him prior to the start and spent a few minutes chatting with him.

15.01.2022 Big day in the office today. Final day for many 2012 tax returns - we lodged 97 returns today. A big effort by everyone - especially those that put in the extra hours this week - Haniki, Sherryn & Sharleen - and for those that have slaved to get all the returns completed, signed and lodged - Joohee, Amy, Jean, Emma & Jenny. We will be celebrating with champagne later in the week.

06.01.2022 These email scams are becoming more and more common. Don't open emails purporting to be from the ATO offering you an "unclaimed refund". The ATO don't send emails - they claim they are "too insecure".
