20.01.2022 Private Oasis Family size 7m x 4m Fibreglass pool. Beautiful contrast of colours between the Whitehaven pool shell colour, limestone pavers and the white Scyon screens. 07.01.2022 MG Pools had the honour to work on this property enriched with history, still in it’s original layout this heritage listed property was one of the original horse stables that was part of the surrounding Newmarket stable group in Randwick. The owner has given the stables a major facelift. Working within its original design layout, the old stables now features a nice modern style throughout. As you walk through the freshly renovated stables you can envision the hustle and bust...le, the individual stalls where the horses were kept, now set up as different living areas for a families needs. The large open common area leads you to a long indoor 18m lap pool. This no-expense-held indoor pool features one sided wet edge water flow system. We replaced the out-dated plastic surface drains with a modern custom designed tile-insert grate. We designed this wet edge drain system to provide a seamless and discrete look with the functionality to catch water that overflows from the pool, which gives the name Wet Edge Pool. A big shout out to Greg Mackie Sheet Metal at Kirrawee for manufacturing these tile-insert drain grates for us. The pool coping and surrounding areas was tiled using a porcelain tile with a 70mm drop edge. Thanks to MDC Mosaics and Tiles for sorting out the tiles for us. This pool is also a FRESH WATER pool. Sanitised by Copper and Silver elements, this system combines the natural benefits of ionisation and oxidisation which delivers a fresh safe disinfection pool system. These photos don’t do this unique pool justice it deserves. We loved putting our touches on such a prestigious property.
