24.01.2022 A great reason to write your stories down before the are ‘written over’. If Dr Karl says don’t Don’t trust your memory then it must be true! Journaling in your scrapbooks is vital to keep your memories alive.

22.01.2022 The reason I love Project Recipes so much is they are great for times when you are having a creative blank. Using different papers and photos can give the same layout a completly different look. On this post I have added a Creative Memories Project Recipe from a couple of years ago that I used to make 4 different layouts. Although the layouts are the same the different photos and different papers have given each a completly different. I even flipped one of the layouts on it'...s side to give it another look. I used this layout for a Worskhop back in 2018 and loved the almost 30 different ideas the ladies came up with between them. Each layout looked completly different. 22.01.2022 If you are after a bit more of a challenge this single page layout from Meggan at Creative Life Scrapbooking looks so effective but requires a little bit of work to set it up. I think it would be an ideal page to highlight one or two special photos. An opposite page in your album could feature a collage of other same event photos if you had more photos to scrap.

I think it would make a great back drop to any special event with papers that enhance your photos. I could see our kids bookweek photos looking create on this type of page especially seen the inspiration was taken from kids cartoons. 17.01.2022 Well it wasn’t the workshop I had hoped to present to you but I hope that you had fun and gathered some great ideas and inspiration. I hope (fingers crossed) our last workshop for 2020 will be face to face on November 28th in Mooroopna, Victoria. I’m missing seeing all your ideas and the projects you have been busy working on this year. Although this idea uses last years Christmas release but would work really well with the all new collection 'Christmas Spirit'. I had so much fun thinking of activities to write on each day. Many of them were part of our normal Christmas traditions but I didn’t tell the kids but had fun watching them guess if what we might be doing and when. They woke up excited each morning to see what fun we would be getting up to each day. The bonus about having them as cards I was able to swap some around or remove others. We had some very hot days here in Victoria last summer and a couple of my ideas had to be stopped due to the extreme heat but I added other hot day activities instead. I’ll add the list sayings/activities I placed on each day’s card last year in the comments section.

12.01.2022 Hi everyone, I know it has been a long time since I have touched base with you all with no explantion and I apologise for that. As some of you may be aware I lost my dad a few months ago after a long battle with chronic illness and then COVID-19 hit so my attention has needed to be else where during the past few months.... 11.01.2022 Do you craft and scrapbook with your kids or grandkids? Our 9 year old has been scrapbooking with me since she was about 6 and she has been creating a 'This is Me' Album. The Album covers things like who she is, her family, friends, special events like birthdays 1st Chirstmas/Easter etc. adding pages as she gets older. Creating an Album has given her some great skills in paper craft but also in more pratical things like structing sentences and her hand writing. It has been am...azing seeing how her writing has changed over the years since she started the Album. Yesterday/Today on the Creative Memories Kids Virtual Craft they have been going through some tips and ideas to create a simple 'This is me' Page. This would be a great project to do with kids or even for yourself to add to your own Album, giving a snapshot of you here and now. You can either fill these with photos that measure 2-1/2" 2-1/2" or you can cut pieces of white cardstock to that size for drawings Title Strip: 1-3/4" X 5" (you may trim based on which ABC/123 Stickers you choose!) 09.01.2022 Thank you to everyone that joined me today as we went on a journey of ideas. Hopefully we can meet again soon, in person, for a fun day filled with fun, laughter and some scrapbooking. 08.01.2022 I’m not sure about you but once all our school work was finished in our house we spent lots of time outside playing or going for walks during lockdown. This layout using the Creative Memories ‘Playtime Theme Pack’ will be great to showcase many of our Lockdown photos.
