23.01.2022 !!!Attention to all ladies from the Class of 1988!!! A late notice but some old classmates have organised a 30 Year Reunion for this Thursday, 31 May from 7pm - 9pm at the MGSC VCE Centre. Please note that this event has been privately organised and generously extended to other 1988 graduates who may wish to join. There will be at least 20 classmates attending. As this is not an official PSA event, it is BYO drinks and a plate to share. MGSC has kindly allowed the use of th...eir facilities and will host a school tour on the evening. 20.01.2022 Over the holidays MGSC received fabulous news that our Pick My Project community grant project had been successful. Community power will make the Getting Girls... on Track synthetic running track initiative a reality. Thank you to everyone who voted. Students and staff and delighted to have this support from the community. No-one could be happier than the 24 athletes who represented MGSC at the Southern Metro Regional Athletics competition this week. Ilana Parker, Carnivals Coordinator, reported they competed with such dedication and pride throughout the day and should be commended on their incredible achievements. Nine students qualified in individual events and a relay to compete at State level at the end of the month. Congratulations to everyone. Lets get on track and field!

19.01.2022 P O S T P O N E D - The 2019 Reunion Event scheduled for this Thursday, 8 August 2019 has been cancelled until further notice. Unfortunately, we have not reached the minimum required number of attendance for this event to go ahead. If there is sufficient interest, we do hope to reschedule the event for late October. A BIG thank you for your support and interest to those who have purchased tickets for this event - *a full refund will be offered* In the meantime, if you have any suggestions for future events please email us at [email protected]. It was lovely to see so many girls come along and reminisce about their time at MGSC and share their experiences and adventures since! 08.01.2022 Unfortunately we have some sad news to share with our members. On behalf of the family, we would like to let everyone know that Mrs Merle Ginny Robinson, former science teacher at Mentone Girls Secondary College for 25 years, has passed away. Her funeral is to be held at WD Rose on Charman Road, Cheltenham this Friday 13 September at 10am. Past students and staff are welcome to attend. RIP Mrs Robinson.

Lisa won the $1000 prize sponsored by DFO Moorabbin for her entry 'Teachers' taken at Mentone Girls' Secondary College. We are proud of Lisas achievements, made more special that her photo was our always winning teachers.
