25.01.2022 Thanks to the generous spirit of our people, today were proud to launch the Yarra Golf Cares initiative. Yarra Golf Cares aims to support the local Yarrawonga ...and Mulwala communities through activities, sponsorships and donations. To kick start the program, our kitchen team, led by Executive Chef Paul Cohen, have been preparing special food packages for the Moira FoodShare and Yarrawonga Neighbourhood House. These small acts of kindness are the first step in an evolving program that aims to bring goodwill and community spirit to those most in need.

22.01.2022 MHA Update Sorry! Not so much good news today, but it is in the best interests of our clients, staff and volunteers to keep everybody safe and healthy. We are all still working hard and providing all of our normal services, however there are a couple of key changes:... We have closed our Yarrawonga office door to protect everyone (payments can be made via bank deposit, cheque by post or over the phone with a credit card) We are giving our beautiful volunteers a hard earned break (and asking them to stay at home where they are safe) We have closed the Opp Shop until further notice (dont fear we will continue to help those needing essential items) Our Meals on Wheels will be delivered by our care workers whilst our volunteers put their feet up! Rememberwe are an essential service. We will continue to operate and help look after all our clients during this pandemic. Take care and stay in touch. The MHA Care Team
21.01.2022 While there are a number of confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Victoria there is a high probability that the virus will spread and impact more Victorians, including the north east. All of us can play our part in containing the spread of this virus by doing a couple of simple things. Protect yourself; The best way to protect yourself from COVID-19 is the same way you would protect yourself from catching flu or other respiratory illness: Wash your hands for at least 20... seconds with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based sanitiser with at least 60% alcohol. Cover your sneeze or cough with your elbow or with tissue and then wash your hands after you dispose of the tissue. Avoid close contact with people who are ill Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth Stay home if you are sick. See more
